Terrible customer service! I do not recommend Toyota of Portland service department. Bait and switch purchase of a new Tacoma We were sold a new Tacoma with an extended warranty. We were told at the time of purchase that we could cancel the additional warranty at any time for We were sold a new Tacoma with an extended warranty. We were told at the time of purchase that we could cancel the additional warranty at any time for a full refund. We submitted the requested paper work 8 weeks ago, and have had no return phone call, no response to in person requests for help, and when contacting the third party warranty company, they've said no information has been provided to them. This dealer now has almost $4000 due to us and continue to ignore repeated inquiries. Go to a dealer who cares about following through and/or customer service. More
best car buying experience Toyota of Portland and Amy Wilkerson, my sales rep, have been amazing throughout the whole process of my car buying experience, as my situation and my Toyota of Portland and Amy Wilkerson, my sales rep, have been amazing throughout the whole process of my car buying experience, as my situation and my requests were particularly challenging and rare. I am a resident of WA state who is a military member PCS'ed to Hawaii. Under the WA state law, military members are exempt from sales tax if the car is purchased while the military member is away from WA on military orders. I wanted to take advantage of this tax exemption so I decided to buy the car from Oregon. So I contacted multiple dealers in Portland. Many dealers were skeptical of the tax exemption law and questioned my logic and situation. One dealer even told me that this was not possible and told me that they can't sell me the car. But Amy and Toyota of Portland were gracious and patient enough to hear me out and do their own research to understand the law and my situation. Long story short, I saved about $3k on the sales tax but also Amy got me a great deal where I got additional savings of $3k. Amy is a hard charger who really gets after customers requests and needs. I am very happy with my car but also the quality of service and support I received from Toyota of Portland and Amy. More

Today, my customer service agent, Mike Taylor, correct This is my fourth Tacoma I have purchased from Toyota of Portland and formerly Broadway Toyota. Today, my customer service agent, Mike Taylor, corrected what was a very frustrating experience in scheduling this morning. He listened to my concern about a rather rude employee I spoke with this morning and was very apologetic on behalf of Portland Toyota for an experience not even caused by him. Mike went the extra mile and spoke with his boss to have my situation handled professionally and they complimentarily waived my charges for my maintenance. I appreciate employees like Mike, who represent their companies with integrity and placing their customer FIRST. Keeps getting worse! I reluctantly bought a certified pre-owned car here- that experience was the most terrible I’ve ever had. Don’t buy here. The service even before I bought here has gotten progressively WORSE. I’ve had Toyotas for 20+ years, but I am done. For the past few years, whenever I take a car in for service, they try to upsell me or try to sell me services/repairs that aren’t necessary. I’ve gotten second opinions and they said the repairs were not needed. Now that I have a “warranty” with my certified pre-owned vehicle, EVERYTHING I’ve taken in to get fixed HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. It’s horribly frustrating and a huge waste of time, costing me work hours and precious time. Many if the service people must think I’m stupid and are quite unfriendly to me. I know at least two other people who’ve also had terrible experiences buying from Broadway Toyota and/or with the service department. DO NOT BUY FROM BROADWAY TOYOTA. More
Horrible staff I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant I purchased a car in February that did not lock I never got a car from a dealership I didn’t know any better it wasn’t I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant I purchased a car in February that did not lock I never got a car from a dealership I didn’t know any better it wasn’t a good purchase I noticed problems with the car 2 days later I wanted to return it but could not but they told me they would fix the car but it was a nightmare I went in and I also called left voice mails and emailed and no one ever helped me until finally this month o got an appointment with the service center and they told me it’s been too long since I purchased the car so they wouldn’t cover it and it would cost me $896 to fix it. I’m going to be a single mom and my car seat stroller got stolen from the car that was $300 I’m very disappointed. They just don’t care all they care about is making a sale. More

Got us a courtesy shuttle (LYFT) and messaged us updates and when finished later that day we were well pleased with the whole process. Thanks all. More
