Poor customer service I stood around in the waiting area for several minutes before one of the wandering salesmen deigned to acknowledge me. Buy from another dealership This is the worst dealership i have been to before. I was interested in buying a new tundra and the one i had my eyes on is the custom built white 201 This is the worst dealership i have been to before. I was interested in buying a new tundra and the one i had my eyes on is the custom built white 2019 tundra they have on the lot. But when I went to the dealership i found out that the truck is being driven by the GM as his daily. Already has over 1000 miles on it and they want almost 70k for the truck. When I found out that this dude has already put over 1000 miles that killed the deal for that truck instantly. I wanted a new truck not a used. But when i looked at another truck that was similar was listed online at 43k and when they brought me a quote they handed me the quote with the truck being at 54k and once I questioned it nobody could give me a straight answer. Only excuse was well someone made a mistake but that someone also didn’t exist when i asked to meet this person. Also when they brought me the quote for the estimate monthly payment at 54k was at $768 a month and after they “Fixed” the number my monthly payment went up ti $788 a month so I knew at that moment that these people were only trying to scam a younger kid cause they thought i would just sign whatever paper they brought to me More

Dishonest Service Tech I took my car in for an oil change. When I picked it up they suggested 3 services @ $189.00 each and said my cabin air filter needed to be replaced ne I took my car in for an oil change. When I picked it up they suggested 3 services @ $189.00 each and said my cabin air filter needed to be replaced next service. I had just replace the air cabin air filter 2 weeks prior! I spoke with the service asst. Manager and heard the excuses I expected but was promised he would talk to the tech and service person who became defensive when I questioned the services suggested, especially the cabin air filter. He explained the nearly $600 in suggested services were dealer suggestions, not Toyota recommendations for my car. I was given my key while we were talking so I invited the service manager to look at the filter. Nothing in my glove box appeares to have been moved. After pulling it out, we could both see two very tiny specs, maybe pieces of a leaf, that were easily picked out. And, the cabin air filter I have is washable! Lol! All I got was a promise to talk to them both. If I cannot trust a dealer, why would I return? More

Stereotypical Used-Car Salesman I purchased a 2015 pre-owned Pathfinder Platinum from Toyota of Portland. The next day the engine blew. Even though I had purchased the extended warra I purchased a 2015 pre-owned Pathfinder Platinum from Toyota of Portland. The next day the engine blew. Even though I had purchased the extended warranty, the warranty company did not approve an engine replacement. The Service Department was fabulous and helped get me into a loaner vehicle so I could go on 2 pre-planned camping trips, but when it came time to return the loaner and get another vehicle, the sales guy I worked with fit the description of a sterotypical used car salesman. He knew I was desperate for a car (I had traded in my old car to get the defective Pathfinder), I only had 4.5 hours to resolve the issue (another appointment scheduled), and I trusted them to make this right for me. He wasted my time talking about leasing a new vehicle, then promised me his employee price on a pre-owned vehicle, then told me he was able to give me an even better price on the vehicle. 5.5 hours later I left with a certified 2015 4Runner. The next day in looking over the paperwork I discovered that I paid the Internet price for the vehicle (which is no deal at all), and had a higher interest rate than the sales guy promised me. I love my 4Runner, but I will never do business with Toyota of Portland again. More
