Toyota of New Bern has been taking care of our 2006 Toyota Avalon for many years. Amber and Dan have been our “go to” people and have always given us excellent service and advice. Didn’t return my dash screen to where it was and I don’t know how. Didn’t tell me ahead of the service visit that if I used a credit card I’d have to pay a fee. Paul went over and beyond to help us get the vehicle that we wanted. There were several options that were important to us and it took nine months to find the perfect car. This dealership does not live up to their end of the agreement when you purchase vehicles from them! My husband and I purchased TWO vehicles from Toyota of New Bern within 3 months. One of the benefits that helped us decide to purchase from them was that they offer "Free" carwashes with every lifetime free oil change. We like to keep our vehicles clean but are elderly and not able to wash ours at home easily. After only two oil changes for our vehicles, this dealership discontinued the "free" carwashes! Their website still shows that this is one of their benefits of purchasing from them - FALSE ADVERTISING. We contacted Mr. Ackroyd, who was the person who made this change, on 6/7/24, after our most recent oil change and he NEVER replied to us so that tells me that he DOESN'T CARE once the customer signs on the dotted line! BAD BUSINESS!!! More
