In March 2012 I re-upped for a 3-year lease on a new RAV4 with Toyota of Manhattan. Vidal Salcedo was extremely friendly and eager to please, and was able to make the turn in of my old car and delivery of t with Toyota of Manhattan. Lots of follow-up to make sure everything was ok, which is good. There was a little negotiation with Kevin Primus over new lease terms, but he also was friendly, professional and willing to work with me. Only hiccup was that they upsold me a few extras when they brought out the new car, which was different from what had been discussed on the phone, but because this wasn't totally unexpected, and because I liked the extras (sunroof, radio upgrade) I was fine with it. When my lease expires in 3 years, I will be back and look forward to dealing with Vidal and Kevin again. More
Both my father and I went in to possibly trade in my 2009 Toyota Yaris which was the first purchase done at the same location. That definitely changed shortly after having our appointment with Vidal and taking a look at the 2012 Toyota Rav4. I wanted payments to be in the same range as the Yaris give or take a little more as long as it was affordable. Being 9 months pregnant I feel he definitely had more patience with me than expected. Very respectful and answered all the questions we had. Unfortunately, they didn't have the color I wanted, but he called and told me to stop by and take a look at it which I did and loved. That same day around 9pm we left the dealer with a great deal thanks to Rashid and a great vehicle. I must say we will be returning back for another trade in, in a few years. Kevin was there to help us jump into the new vehicle and answered any questions we had about the car along with Vidal. Great customer service. I would definitely recommend them 100%. More
My experience with Kevin and Josh was friendly, thorough and complete. They were very professional yet i felt as if i were dewling with friends. They walked me thru the entire process of buying my new car, while Kevin worked diligently in working through various payment plans to help my family's budget, Josh walked me through every detail on the new 2012 Camry, from its new fuel saving features, to the Bluetooth connectivity features for my cell phone. I wil definitely recommend others to Toyota of Manhattan, and I will have them ask for both Kevin and Josh for a thorough and honest experience. More
A little over a month ago, I started inquiring about the availability date of the Scion FR-S. I initially contacted Plaza Scion since they were the closest to me. The agent I spoke with had NO clue of what availability date of the Scion FR-S. I initially contacted Plaza Scion since they were the closest to me. The agent I spoke with had NO clue of what the FR-S was. His answer to my question - When will the FR-S be available, was "Is that a new Honda?" from that point I knew I couldn't do business with them. How do you do business with someone who doesn't even know what they are selling? Of all the dealers I contacted, Scion of Manhattan proved to be the most knowledgeable. My initial call about the car was promptly returned by Joshua Hennion, who was extremely friendly, professional, and ready with any information I needed about the car. A prime example of who you would like to do business with. I was able to place a pre-order on the car and everything flowed smoothly from there. Last Saturday I visited Scion of Manhattan to finalize my transaction, and drive my FR-S back home. And I did just that. When I got there I was greeted by Joshua, and was also introduced to Kevin Primus who was to help me with the entire process. He was GREAT as well. A very professional, polite, well organized guy. Both Joshua and Kevin did a great job of making my first car purchase a very easy and relaxed one. I felt no pressure at all. I also worked with Ray Laureano who did a great job of explaining what my financing options/packages were, and he helped in getting all the paperwork finalized. With all that said, it was truly a GREAT experience, and I look forward to working with these guys in the future. More
I received my first phone call from Joseph McKnight seven months before my Toyota Corolla LE 2010 lease expiration. After that, I received several phone calls, emails, letters, and cards from Joseph, Joseph’ months before my Toyota Corolla LE 2010 lease expiration. After that, I received several phone calls, emails, letters, and cards from Joseph, Joseph’s supervisor Kevin Primus, and Toyota of Manhattan. All of the team members are very persistent in keeping their customers for a lifetime. I finally met Joseph and Kevin on May 2012 for the first time. They are both very nice gentlemen, extremely personable, highly professional, and very polite and I think Joseph is passionate with a kind heart. Joseph hugged me because he could not pronounce my last name on the phone. We all three discussed my options for returning my car’s lease and leasing a brand new car again. Unfortunately, Kevin did not accept a deal that I was looking for and I felt that he did not want my business with Toyota of Manhattan any longer. I was in front of the building and the Toyota staff brought my car from the garage. A gentleman (I still do not know his name) that I think was Kevin’s supervisor started asking Joseph and Kevin about my car lease. He said very clearly and I quote, “ He kept his car in excellent shape”. He asked many questions from Joseph and Kevin, and finally, he wanted to talk to Kevin and Joseph in his office. I was waiting in the street right in front of the building and I had two options in mind; return the car on the expiration date or just walk in Hyundai dealer and lease a Hyundai Sonata. They all came out and right away, this gentleman offered me a price….It was not a price that I was looking for but it was reasonable. I shook his hand and a deal was made. Kevin Primus, Joseph McKnight, and Melvin Guerra took care of the rest and made me feel like home and my brand new leased car was ready in one hour. I will give these gentlemen (I forgot to get his name), Kevin Primus, Joseph McKnight, and Melvin Guerra an “A” grade. I would love to be a lifetime Toyota customer. More

Mr. Franklin Beco was so nice and attentive to my family. I can't say enough about Mr. Beco he really takes the time out to listen to his customers and make sure that he can fit them into a vehicle to take care of all of their needs. Unlike other sales associates he is not someone who is pushy or haggles his customers. From the moment that you step foot into the dealership he is sooooooooooooo polite, smiling and has a pleasant demeanor. I would recommend him to all of my family and friends. We will defiantly use Mr. Beco again in the future for our second automobile. Thanks:) More

TOYOTA OF MANHATTAN...i have bought new toyota 2012 rav4 limited with full accessories( which were actually not) from toyota of manhattan. my experience was not good with to have bought new toyota 2012 rav4 limited with full accessories( which were actually not) from toyota of manhattan. my experience was not good with toyota of manhatten.dealership.firstly i want to say that they did not consider the will of customer but they force the customer to accept their will. i was really depressed by buying a car from toyota of manhatten. i went in a intentionto buy a black rav4 with 7 seats and full accessorries. but the dealer told me that there is no black colour in this model and no 7 seater. when i get back home i saw on youtube there was the same rav4 2012 limited in low price was available with black colour and 7 seaterand company mention in .the manual with my new rav4 that there is 3rd row seats available in this model.I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD BE CAREFUL WHEN THEY GO TO TOYOTA OF MANHATTAN BECAUSE THEY NEED MONY NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.there was a fred cosultant who was very nice and respected man but the thing is that when u ask any question from fred he keeps us waiting and goes to manager to ask.toyota of manhattan trap the customers by making a complex process of buying.and they drain the money from customers More
