I brought my car to service yesterday (8/18) for the major 15000 miles service. Not only was it less money than I was quoted in otherdealers, but it was ready BEFORE the time he told me. I saw a Used BMW online for $22,990. I went to Bay Ridge toyota to purchase the car. I like the car but upon arrival at the dealership there was a price tag of $27,990 on it. I offer to purchase it, a $1000 prep fee was added the the purchase price of $22,990 that I insist I am paying - the price advertised online. After making a deposit, the service went downhill, no return calls, when I called I am being asked about the check, when I haven't test drive the car. When I finally get to test drive the car, it was dirty, not details, no buffing done, and I am being told that it is done. All of this was a part of the prep fee. The car was clearly dirty, dirty spots all over the beige interior. Dust all over exterior. Stan the salesman went as far as arguing that they are the best detail company in New York and it is done to the customer satisfaction. The service I receive at Bay Ridge Toyota is deplorable, it seems that nobody wanted to assist me in getting the information I am suppose to get in the first place. Everything I ask, they did not have or I have to print from off the internet. I went to the manager for help, and still did not get anywhere. I am under the impression that because I did not finance the car, then they did not car. I will never recommend Bay Ridge Toyota to anyone. More
