I found everything associated with purchasing a new Toyota from Toyota of Sunnyvale to be professional, courteous, and very much to my satisfaction. Whatever you do -- please think twice before purchasing your vehicle from here. Not only do they have above market rate (yes - if you look around, you find better deals), you have to deal with the attitude your vehicle from here. Not only do they have above market rate (yes - if you look around, you find better deals), you have to deal with the attitude of the store manager. I was there to buy 2011 Prius - went there with my check book and family to close the deal and get out of there as fast as possible. There could not have been an easier customer. Lack of professionalism and the b*lls to tell a prospective customer "if you don't buy today - I will increase the price on you tomorrow". Poor little fellow fails to understand that in silicon valley - if he messes around with professionals - it is going to bite him back big time. My fellow valley professionals - I urge you to go buy from elsewhere - even if you have to pay a few bucks more. At least you will have a better car buying experience. More
Worst service manager! But very good technicians. I Worst service manager! But very good technicians. I went to Toyota Sunnyvale to do a 60K service for my car and was greeted by a Mr Hector who was Worst service manager! But very good technicians. I went to Toyota Sunnyvale to do a 60K service for my car and was greeted by a Mr Hector who was very disinterested in answering my questions, but instead immediately printed an invoice for $571 and handed it to me, saying that my car will be ready by tomorrow. He gave me absolutely no time to even ask what packages they have to offer and other misc. things such as coupons and service specials. He blatantly lied that they offer only one deal for 60K service, which costs $571 (I know he lied because I had come to them one month back where somebody else offered me more packages at lesser prices). The next 15 mins, I had to ask a lot of questions to get the following information, which otherwise Mr Hector would have hidden from me: 1) complimentary car for the day. 2) 15% off for costco members. 3) price match of any toyota dealership's quote. The next day when I went to pick up my car, he did not price match the deals of other dealerships (which were around $400, almost $200 less than Toyota Sunnyvale's) and the reason he gave was that the services offered can not be compared! What a shady liar! They lost yet another customer. But I must point out though, that their technicians, down to the people who had wash the car, are very good folks, very helpful and informed. More
We had a very good experience with the Direct Sales Manager Mr.John Le. He was honest, polite, patient and above all very kind with us throughout the purchase. It was only for this sales executive we c Manager Mr.John Le. He was honest, polite, patient and above all very kind with us throughout the purchase. It was only for this sales executive we came back to Sunnyvale dealership even though we had better price from other Toyota dealers. On two days, John stayed back after his office hours and helped us test drive the car and also gave us a free ride from SJC airport as we had to drop off our rental car. Thanks a lot for everything John. We would also like to thank Phil, Tim and Chris for making our car purchase a memorable one. More

A number of years ago, my wife who I had just started dating at the time, took her '05 Scion XB in for some warranty work. I don't remember what the original problem was (I think it was something to do w dating at the time, took her '05 Scion XB in for some warranty work. I don't remember what the original problem was (I think it was something to do with some of the dash indicator lights not going out), but it was a long and time consuming process to get fixed. Along the way, I think a number of other issues came up that were also fixed under warranty... due to the time and processes involved, my wife's car became well known at the service department... that in conjunction with her love of cherries (wild cherry steering wheel cover, seat covers, license plate frame and air freshener... I think the paint color is also something to do with cherries)... the service techs and reps fondly refer to it as "The Cherry Mobile". Because my wife is not very well versed in vehicle repairs/maintenance, at the time of all this she was relying very heavily on my input and suggestions when dealing with the Toyota Sunnyvale service Reps. I finally gave up trying to play 'third party' and asked if I could just speak with them directly. Nathan and Noah (And Sandy Chavez as well as she was still working there at the time before having to leave to have her first child) were both very helpful and friendly, gave me all the time I needed, answered all my questions, and basically treated me as though this was my car, even though I had NOTHING to do with it at the time other than I had just started dating the owner. Their commitment to Customer Service, Regardless of the customer, caused me to consider no other manufacturer, let alone Dealership than Toyota Sunnyvale when it was time for me to buy a new vehicle. In Jan '08 I walked into their store, spoke with Greg Siverston (who was just as friendly, helpful and polite as their service department) and within a matter of hours I drove off the lot with a brand new Corolla. I don't take my cars anywhere else... not even for oil changes (which I can do myself if I really wanted to... but would miss getting to see Nathan and Noah to say hi and catch up on families). And EVERY time we go in for a visit, be it an oil change, service, or warranty work, we are always greeted with the same level of professionalism and respect that we've come to take for granted at Toyota Sunnyvale. Just last week the map light on my rear view mirror 'broke' and the passenger side switch wouldn't stay in the 'off' position. And I'm sure you can guess by now that both Nathan and Noah were both available to me to take care of it and handle it quickly and efficiently. My wife and I have lived in the Sunnyvale/Santa Clara area for most of our lives. We've recently found ourselves in the very fortunate position to purchase our first new home together... unfortunately it's in Morgan Hill. And yet... we still have no plans on taking our vehicles to another location for any reason... even to another Toyota Dealership closer to our new home. Our plan is to simply spend time with family in the area while our cars are being serviced in Sunnyvale. THAT is how great and how much we have come to appreciate the Toyota Sunnyvale Staff! And in a few years, with a little luck, we'll be ready to replace my wife's Scion XB... and you can bet you'll see us in there again! I think she's already got her eye on the RAV4! ;o) Respectfully Submitted, Richard & Amber Chao '05 Scion XB '08 Corolla LE More
