I gave the rating that I did, because Robert Andrews was helpful, and explained everything about the car. He was efficient, and did not waste our time. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and was not in a hurry (even though it was lunch time) to have us leave. The car was nicely detailed, cleaned, full tank of gas. etc. More
Brought my XB in for service. They broke my windshield & only paid me $60 to replace it. Didnt do more than half of the service & refuse to refund me more than $60 (whats up with the $60??). I feel lucky only paid me $60 to replace it. Didnt do more than half of the service & refuse to refund me more than $60 (whats up with the $60??). I feel lucky that the only damage done was visible. They also claim that they do not have a tune-up checksheet for Scions so that means they charge you full price but wont do much more than change the oil. Doesnt it make you wonder how a Toyota dealer cant perform a tune-up on a Toyota cuz it has a Scion name badge? More
Jeff Howrey is the BEST car sales person I have ever dealt with. He helped me assess my needs and find me an outstanding deal on a new car. Horrible experience! I bought a used 2005 tacoma from out of state and the vehicle was shipped. The vehicle was NOT as discribed and I was told "well, you should have come to look at it and not just trusted of state and the vehicle was shipped. The vehicle was NOT as discribed and I was told "well, you should have come to look at it and not just trusted us". They would NOT honor the dealership return exchange policy. Bought our Prius at Toyota Sunnyvale. Dealt with Jeff Howery, who was very friendly. Agreed on the price over the phone, and bought the car that same night without any problems. Recommend Jeff highly. Howery, who was very friendly. Agreed on the price over the phone, and bought the car that same night without any problems. Recommend Jeff highly. A suggested improvement is the time to process the paperwork. Even though the price was already negotiated, it still took us 3.25 hrs from the time we started to when we drove off with the new car! I presume it's the same with all the other dealerships. More
I took my Toyota Prius there for scheduled maintenance and when I got it back the windshield had been cracked! Of course, I pointed it out to them right away, and even when looking at the vehicle inspecti and when I got it back the windshield had been cracked! Of course, I pointed it out to them right away, and even when looking at the vehicle inspection sheet they filled out it's clear the windshield was marked as being fine at first, but then that is crossed out and the windshield is marked as being cracked. Well, obviously that was because they were the ones who cracked it. However, they refused to fix my windshield because they claim the break started from a ding that was already in the windshield. I was unaware of there being any ding, but I know those don't cost that much to repair. Once it cracks and spreads though, you have to replace the whole windshield. But the Sunnyvale Toyota Service Center refuses to take responsibility for cracking my windshield. I am very disappointed. I expected better from a place associated with Toyota. More
We have a 2003 Sienna and had service light on frequently at one point. I went to see Sunnyvale dealer for service, and was told the brake has problem, paid a few hundred dollars and got the fix. In a week, at one point. I went to see Sunnyvale dealer for service, and was told the brake has problem, paid a few hundred dollars and got the fix. In a week, I saw service light on again, went back and check, and told with some other problem which I forgot now. Paid and got the fix. Within a month or so, I got the service light on again, this time, I was told it's the fuel cap. Twenty bucks. So this is either Toyota quality or dealship quality work problem. I feel it's the later one. Since I have good experience with my other Toyota. After a while, I went there for 30K service of my Camry, priced for about three hundred something. Got a call later and told the car has other problems, it would cost total almost $800 to fix it. I was really unhappy about it and went there to check what exactly they try to do to my car. I found out that its 30K service package contains less service but costs higher than what Fremont Toyota offers. No one showed me the list of what the dealership will do with 30K service package but the manager asked the guy who called me earlier and he said he showed me that page. But he was not the service rep I dealt with in the morning. But anyway, the manager was rude and mean, asked me to pay the 30K package and gave me back my car. He told me the 30K service work was done already, but I had to wait about 30min to get my car. That was my last time to the dealership for service. I am happy with Fremont dealership for past two three years. More
Since we dealt with this dealership last yr, decide to try again. We end up with the Same sales person as last yr. This visit started off ok then it became nasty since he had another sale manager there try again. We end up with the Same sales person as last yr.
