A number of years ago, my wife who I had just started dating at the time, took her '05 Scion XB in for some warranty work. I don't remember what the original problem was (I think it was something to do w dating at the time, took her '05 Scion XB in for some warranty work. I don't remember what the original problem was (I think it was something to do with some of the dash indicator lights not going out), but it was a long and time consuming process to get fixed. Along the way, I think a number of other issues came up that were also fixed under warranty... due to the time and processes involved, my wife's car became well known at the service department... that in conjunction with her love of cherries (wild cherry steering wheel cover, seat covers, license plate frame and air freshener... I think the paint color is also something to do with cherries)... the service techs and reps fondly refer to it as "The Cherry Mobile". Because my wife is not very well versed in vehicle repairs/maintenance, at the time of all this she was relying very heavily on my input and suggestions when dealing with the Toyota Sunnyvale service Reps. I finally gave up trying to play 'third party' and asked if I could just speak with them directly. Nathan and Noah (And Sandy Chavez as well as she was still working there at the time before having to leave to have her first child) were both very helpful and friendly, gave me all the time I needed, answered all my questions, and basically treated me as though this was my car, even though I had NOTHING to do with it at the time other than I had just started dating the owner. Their commitment to Customer Service, Regardless of the customer, caused me to consider no other manufacturer, let alone Dealership than Toyota Sunnyvale when it was time for me to buy a new vehicle. In Jan '08 I walked into their store, spoke with Greg Siverston (who was just as friendly, helpful and polite as their service department) and within a matter of hours I drove off the lot with a brand new Corolla. I don't take my cars anywhere else... not even for oil changes (which I can do myself if I really wanted to... but would miss getting to see Nathan and Noah to say hi and catch up on families). And EVERY time we go in for a visit, be it an oil change, service, or warranty work, we are always greeted with the same level of professionalism and respect that we've come to take for granted at Toyota Sunnyvale. Just last week the map light on my rear view mirror 'broke' and the passenger side switch wouldn't stay in the 'off' position. And I'm sure you can guess by now that both Nathan and Noah were both available to me to take care of it and handle it quickly and efficiently. My wife and I have lived in the Sunnyvale/Santa Clara area for most of our lives. We've recently found ourselves in the very fortunate position to purchase our first new home together... unfortunately it's in Morgan Hill. And yet... we still have no plans on taking our vehicles to another location for any reason... even to another Toyota Dealership closer to our new home. Our plan is to simply spend time with family in the area while our cars are being serviced in Sunnyvale. THAT is how great and how much we have come to appreciate the Toyota Sunnyvale Staff! And in a few years, with a little luck, we'll be ready to replace my wife's Scion XB... and you can bet you'll see us in there again! I think she's already got her eye on the RAV4! ;o) Respectfully Submitted, Richard & Amber Chao '05 Scion XB '08 Corolla LE More

No other dealership (Toyota or otherwise) has ever made me feel so at home. The technicians at the Used Lot were professional and honest. The staff in the office at the Used Lot were cheerful, respondent, and efficient even in-lieu of all the construction that was going on at the time. I never felt like I was being pushed to buy anything that I did not want. My sales rep, Lisa Burton was always friendly, helpful, responsive, encouraging, and reliable (even on her days off). More

I'd been about to walk off the lot, unhappy with the way the front desk was handling a potential walk-in customer (me) ... no sales person to talk to me could be found in the building. Navin spotted m the front desk was handling a potential walk-in customer (me) ... no sales person to talk to me could be found in the building. Navin spotted me, and engaged me in a friendly conversation. He completely changed my opinion of the dealership. In conversation, I learned about the practices and policies of Sunnyvale Toyota ... and liked them: Openness, fair pricing, great service hours, an extremely good warranty (several days to change my mind!!). During the initial publicity over the alleged brake problem with the Prius, the only dealership that I observed to be willing to talk to the press was Sunnyvale Toyota. When I changed my car order at the last second ... they'd prepped a car for me! ... they didn't blink, but immediately worked on getting the car I now wanted. (That car has been great so far!) More

T Hayward, we ended up relunctantly) in Sunnyvale after making an appointment with Lisa Burton. The minute we arrived, "change" was in the air. To make a long story short...Lisa made the car-buying experience like no other we've ever had. She was kind, friendly, patient, a good listener and gave NO PRESSURE!! (And I mean NO PRESSURE!) The car we wanted wasn't in stock in the color we wanted, so she ordered it for us. When the car arrived, Lisa advised us that they were giving us $500 off because there was a new Toyota deal going on. WHAT? A car dealer who gave us money off that we didn't ask for? There was no pressure from the finance manager either. When we turned down his offers for car warranties, gap insurance, etc. the only response we received was, "Okay." After the paper work was completed and we had the keys in hand, Lisa went over every detail of the car with us. The week after our purchase, we received about four (4) emails from the dealer following up with us to make certain we had a pleasant experience. Before this experience, I swore that every car salesman couldn't be trusted and there wasn't an honest dealership out there. So, now I'm a little mad at Lisa and Sunnyvale Toyota. Why? Because they proved me WRONG and I don't like to be wrong. :) More

This was my first experience shopping for a Toyota and I found everyone at Toyota Sunnyvale very friendly and helpful. I was going from a 2005 convertible Mustang to a 2010 Prius, there were plenty of cars found everyone at Toyota Sunnyvale very friendly and helpful. I was going from a 2005 convertible Mustang to a 2010 Prius, there were plenty of cars to choose from and all the various option packages explained. In the end the the exact car I wanted had to be ordered, I was surprised the level IV with solar roof is not available with the the cool wheels that come on the level V (that should be changed). I was happy with the price quoted as compared to other dealers but think the Prius is over priced in general and if not for trying to do my part for the environment would not pay that much for this car. What really made the experience one that I would recommend to others was the delivery of the car. Greg Sivertson went over everything in the vehicle and spent more time with us than all the other new car checks outs I have done (6) combined. At know time did he act like he needed to be somewhere else and explained features in as much detail as needed. If you are visiting this dealership I would look him up! The car has been great, I have found it to be very comfortable and is able to get up and go when needed. More
When we made our initial contact with this dealer, it was just to walk in a check things out. We where getting ready to purchase but we had not made any decisions at the time. From the very start upon meetin just to walk in a check things out. We where getting ready to purchase but we had not made any decisions at the time. From the very start upon meeting our sales lady Zenia Padua, we where excited about doing business with them. We had an idea of the vehicle we wanted and by the time we left we knew we would be coming back to this dealer to make our purchase. Zenia was extremely nice and knowledgeable about our vehicle and she made buying it easy also. The only regret I have was the waiting time it took to finally get delivery of the vehicle. I'm sure that I was not the only person buying a vehicle that day, but both my wife and I felt that 6 hours was more than it should take from start to finish. I realize that the vehicle had just come into the dealer a day or so ago, and had not gone through the dealer inspections, but 6 hours is still to long. Other than the waiting time, I will definitely refer people and would go back and purchase another vehicle from them again. Everything else went very smoothly from test drive to financing. More

I recently bought a brand new 2010 RAV4 from David Rice at the internet sales department of Toyota Sunnyvale. David and his coworkers were really helpful, without applying much sales pressure.
