never dealt with a salesperson that said yes to anything we asked for. he was very accomodating and let us take all the time we needed to make our decision. never got those annoying phone calls that one usu we asked for. he was very accomodating and let us take all the time we needed to make our decision. never got those annoying phone calls that one usually gets once you go into a dealership,and it took us over three months to decide. he also let us drive a car for the day to help in our decision making, instead of us paying to rent the car for the day! that was the main reason we went back and bought the car from him, he was just too honest! thanks again ahmad :-) More

I was in the market for a brand new truck and had already visited another Toyota dealer in the Bay Area prior to visiting Toyota Sunnyvale. I was unsatisfied with the customer service at the first dealer I visited another Toyota dealer in the Bay Area prior to visiting Toyota Sunnyvale. I was unsatisfied with the customer service at the first dealer I visited. They also had a high pressure sales vibe. I belong to Costco and decided to see if I had any better luck going through them. Costco got me in touch with Cleve Stribling at Sunnyvale Toyota. Cleve was very straight forward and honest on the phone. We came to a fair price over the phone and he was genuinely interested in my trade in. There was absolutely no high pressure sale at all. Cleve took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for and make sure that I was completely satisfied with the vehicle and his service. The truck was not on site, however Cleve located it at a sister store and had it brought to the Sunnyvale location. Sunnyvale Toyota gave me a true market trade in price on my used vehicle. They did not try any low ball Kelly Blue Book pricing tactics as were done at the first dealership. They not only checked the blue book value, but they also checked the current market for my vehicle. I ultimately got a great price for the trade in as well as the new truck. I was also very fortunate to work with Mike New in the finance department. My prior experience in the finance department is where they try to get you to sign up for options, aftermarket items etc. in a very last minute high pressure way. Mike New was very friendly, straight forward and not pushy at all. He explained the different financing options, service packages etc. and let me decide without any pressure. I have bought 5 cars from dealerships in the past. I had mostly bad to terrible experiences with the dealership sales prior to this visit. If you are looking for a great vehicle at a fair price I would highly recommend Cleve Stribling and Mike New of Sunnyvale Toyota. More

The price is almost the cheapest I got. Best of all, the sales are really willing to help you and assist you. The customer service at Sunnyvale Toyota is fabulous. The service agents are always friendly, informative and pro-active. All crew members are very team-oriented. The staff are true to their word. After experiencing an issue with a tire late in the day on a Saturday, I stopped by Sunnyvale Toyota, a mechanic inspected my car, identified the issue and repaired it quickly. Since I planned to purchase the car without trading in my old one and for cash, it was a simple transaction. However, the car was delivered with only one key and no manuals. I was called a week later, to bri old one and for cash, it was a simple transaction. However, the car was delivered with only one key and no manuals. I was called a week later, to bring the car in as the new key had arrived and was to be programed. They received the wrong key so they offered me a loaner and ordered a new key. I was called the next day and receive d the car clean and with the fluids topped off, so all in all, while the experience was not excellent, they did their best to make ammends. More
