I first approached Toyota Sunnyvale with an Internet price query through KBB or Edmonds along with 2 other dealers. Dennis was the first to respond with a very good price (several hundred dollars lower price query through KBB or Edmonds along with 2 other dealers. We set up an appointment with him for the weekend and he was happy to show us all the cars we wanted to see. Although we were shopping for a Prius plug-in, we still wanted to see all the possible colors and explore the other Prius options to make sure we were doing the right thing. Dennis happily and patiently showed us around the many Prii on the lot and answered all our questions and I had a test drive. Since his price was so good, we did not do any price negotiations; we picked the car we wanted, we did a simple credit check and application and then went to meet Brian in Finance. We got through the contracts fairly quickly and easily (even that super long contract - again no negotiations as we pretty much knew what we wanted). The financing options were excellent. Overall, we have never purchased a car so quickly and painlessly. We were and out in and driving a brand new car in about 4 hours with no nasty negotiating. What could be better? More

I had been contemplating purchasing a Prius for many months and finally decided I would brave a car dealership to check it out. I walked into the Sunnyvale Toyota Dealership with a knot in my stomach as months and finally decided I would brave a car dealership to check it out. I walked into the Sunnyvale Toyota Dealership with a knot in my stomach as I prepared for this experience. However when I walked through the door and met Reisa everything changed. She was so friendly and "real." She found me the perfect car for me. She did not try to talk me into something I didn't want. It was a refreshing experience. She and Phil worked together to help me get the best deal. I felt like they were honest and genuinely were interested in finding something that would work for me! I will come back and will tell all of my connections about the great experience I had! More

Ahmad and Delon are awesome sales associates that are honest and reliable. All my experience with Toyota of Sunnyvale has been positive. On a Sunday, I walked into the dealership (1124 location) and an associate asked if I had been helped and then matched me with the nearest sales rep to assist me. They have a big staff and they are easily recognizable in their blue shirts. Within 10 minutes of walking around with this particular sales rep, I could tell that he was not well spoken or knowledgeable about cars so I went back in and asked for someone else who could better assist me. I'm sure he was new to the business or something.. They were all very understanding and quickly introduced me to another sales rep - Damien. Damien was very approachable and asked good questions right away to gauge what I was looking for and the cars I liked. He knew the cars on the lot very well and was able to share basic facts immediately, such as previous ownership info and MPG info. If he did not have info on hand, he would quickly get the information from resources in the dealership. I looked at a handful of cars, test drove two, and walked away with the keys of a Nissan. Overall, I had a great experience because Damien and the other staff were friendly, quick to help, and made me feel at ease as I asked lots of questions. I appreciated that Damien listened to me, was genuine and unpretentious about his car knowledge! Cons are that the whole car buying process takes a big chunk of time out of your day (they should invest in a snack bar, but luckily damien got us all jamba juice!), the finance dept. tried to push warranty/safety/etc packages on me (I declined), and despite my above average credit score I was not offered the best interest rate (they asked what I was shooting for, I said "something under %4" and they offered 3.99%...hmm...). Random note: the pink haired afternoon receptionist was much nicer and respectful than the long haired brunette in the morning, but don't let that affect your car buying experience.
