Afterwards, during the negotations he was very understanding and flexible, no pressure tactics so common at other dealerships. We closed the deal later this morning. Before I left in my new Highlander, Jeffrey did a thorough walkthrough, which was extremely helpful. He is very knowledgeable and patient, with excellent communication skills. Was a very pleasant used car purchase, quite a change from past experiences at different dealerships. Checked out several dealerships and collected pricing. Went home and did research on the current values of the car. Sunnyvale Toyota was very competitive for the van we were looking at. Came back to Sunnyvale Toyota and worked with Diana. She was friendly, was very responsive to our questions, and gave us no pressure as we looked at a couple of models and took a couple cars out for a test drive. We decided on a car that would be a good candidate. Carfaxes were available in all the cars for review. Once at the office Diana provided us a copy of the Kelly Blue book value for the car as well as a listing of all similarly configured cars of the same make/model within 32 miles and it also showed the selling price was among the lowest available, which matched what our research showed. We also discussed with Diana the down payment and the loan rate. Once again they were aggressively competitive for their rates and all numbers were at, or below, the low end numbers in our research. Our meeting with Eric in Finance went equally as well. We had some discussion over extended warranty, but again it was a very friendly, no pressure, atmosphere. There were a couple of items that were to be taken care of prior to pickup of the vehicle. All items were taken care of and, to our pleasant surprise, the car was ready to be picked up with a full tank of gas. Overall this was the most positive experience we have had for purchasing a car (new or used). More
Upon arriving at the dealership, we were not pressured into looking at any cars and were free to walk around, which we preferred to do. He drove us across the street to look at new cars and allowed us to continue looking at the selection freely, no pressure or forced demonstration of the car. We did not purchase a car that day, but we did return to the same dealership some days later because we were so pleased with the manners of the salesmen at Toyota Sunnyvale as opposed to other dealerships, where salesmen tended to follow us around and try to pressure us into buying cars we were not completely interested in. We specifically requested for Delon when we returned during the second visit, and he was just as nice as before. He had even remembered which car we were interested in from the week before. Sean helped us in finance - he was very patient and took the time to explain to us different care plans (more than once!). More
