Happy buyer I'm a repeat customer of Toyota Sunnyvale, so I shouldn't have been surprised at what an easy-going experience I had buying my second Prius. We purcha I'm a repeat customer of Toyota Sunnyvale, so I shouldn't have been surprised at what an easy-going experience I had buying my second Prius. We purchased our first one circa 2007, and regularly take it to Toyota Sunnyvale for service. We've already racked up more than 145K miles on that car without any significant service problems other than regular maintenance. So it was a no-brainer to buy another Prius from them when we needed another car. After doing some online research, I went into the dealership with a pretty good idea of what I wanted to pay, and I have to say that Toyota's offer was on target. Marius Coroiu from direct sales was there to help me out, and was very friendly. I told him that I had already done my homework and all I needed was a 2015 Prius Two in Winter Gray Metallic. He said they had three in stock and we went out in the lot to take a look. We found one and took a short test drive. Of course, I was very familiar with driving a Prius, but Marius was very helpful in showing me the new features of the 2015 model. When Marius and I got back to his office, I feared there would be a ton of paperwork and bickering about price. But in fact, Marius spelled out all costs and I was relieved to see that it was below what I found in my online research. So I couldn't argue much about the price. The paperwork was also not a big hassle. If you've dealt with a home mortgage re-fi, this was a breeze in comparison. Some of the paperwork was handled by Marius, and some was completed with the help of Mike Wess in the finance dept, who was also friendly and easy-going. I should add that, yes, both Marius and Mike made me aware of additional options, extended warranties and such, but I was oh-so-happy that they listened to what my needs were, and when I told them I just wanted the basic package, they did not try to hard-sell me. To me, that was the most important thing, and helped build up my trust in the dealership. This was also true of my earlier car-buying experience in 2007. So my rating of Toyota Sunnyvale, Marius Coroiu and Mike Wess is a solid ten-out-of-ten all the way around. I am quite pleased with my car! More
