I read alot of negitive comments before my visit to this dealership, so I was concerned and cautious...having purchased many new cars in the past, I was prepared. I found my intial visit to this dealership dealership, so I was concerned and cautious...having purchased many new cars in the past, I was prepared. I found my intial visit to this dealership to be very positive. I was treated very fairly, and courteously.....I was offered an immediate no haggle price that was extremely fair, and one that required no further negotiations. The vehicle I'm buying is coming from outside NV, so It has not been delivered yet, however, to date, I was was treated very well, by both Florence my sales rep. and also their Finance personel. If the actually delivery, goes as well as my buying experiance so far, I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership....I always recommend doing your homework before buying any new vehicle, so you know what you should be paying and what your buying. If the final part of my deal changes my opinion, I will be sure to post new comments, but so far, all has been very good. More
The entire dealership is a scam. The salesman was rude. Are you crazy!!! Do you think I want you getting the commission from the sale of my truck when you made me come down there from the other side of town 4 times to re-sign the paperwork because you lost it? And the service department, my lord!!!! They had my truck for a week for a minor throttle control issue. I was called to come get it, and as soon as I got on the highway to head home, it broke down with the same problem! Luckily I was able to get it started and drive it back to Towbin. I popped the hood to find that the airbox was just haning there, which if I would've driven all the way back home, my motor would have blown! They didn't even apologize, I asked them to bring out the technician that last worked on it so he could see what he did, and they refused. Instead, I get the "service manager" who tells me that they finally found the problem. He then preceeded to ask me if I wanted to leave it there or schedule an appointment for a later date....Hello!!!! The truck was breaking down. What kind of stupid question is that!?! More
Purchased a new 2009 dodge truck. Gave dealership $1500 cash as down payment, contract was written, signed etc. I took the truck home believing i had just purchased a new truck. I then recieved a call a we cash as down payment, contract was written, signed etc. I took the truck home believing i had just purchased a new truck. I then recieved a call a week later, was told i needed another $1500 up front to complete the deal or they could not use the bank i was quoted from for the loan. Now i just purchased a house and my credit score is above 700 so why the credit union would require another $1500 is beyond me. I went down to complain and was thrown out of the finance managers office! I was told to get out of his office, that "he was done with me" and had a door closed on me. It was only after i made a huge stink that a sales manager ageed to "absorb" the extra $1500 they wanted from me. Now why did they not just do that in the beginning and wait a week to call me? I bought a $33,000 truck and they almost lost a customer over $1500? Get real, go somewhere else, these guys are liars and crooks.... More

I purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota from Towbin Dodge on January 21, 2009. The deal was completed at the dealership under the direction on Jody Stanfill (Sales Agent), Andy McDaniel (Manager) and Joe (Fina January 21, 2009. The deal was completed at the dealership under the direction on Jody Stanfill (Sales Agent), Andy McDaniel (Manager) and Joe (Finance Personal Cell # 558-2727.) On Thursday January 22, Andy McDaniel came to the restaurant I manage and ate receiving a discount because of the outstanding finance job he told me he accomplished. There was nothing mentioned that financing would be a problem; on the contrary he was able to secure a good financing deal and enjoyed his deeply discounted meal. On or about Saturday Jan 24th I received a call from Jody thanking me for the purchase and asking me if there was anything else he could assist with and for customer referrals, which I gladly gave the name of my nephew whom is in the market for a new vehicle. At this point and time, all papers were signed and our deal was complete, signed and sealed. I now had my vehicle for over 3 days, since the vehicle was purchased the prior WEDNESDAY! On January 27 almost a full week later, I received a call from Joe and Jody, asking me to pick up my DMV paperwork for registration since my insurance had been in force from day one. There was never any mention of the unwind loan situation that became an issue. On the contrary I was lured to Towbin Dodge having 2 men standing over me using threatening sales and pressure tactics asking me to resign documents for a revised loan with an interest rate of over 20%! I refused to sign any new additional paperwork, since I believed and was told repeatedly that my original deal was complete. During this uncomfortable encounter, I was threatened and in fear of my safety and escaped from the dealership with the men following me to the parking lot. They were banging on the vehicle windows as I pulled away. My vehicle was promptly repossessed and now receiving phone calls from another Towbin Dodge Associate named Jerrell Carroll, Director of Security, for Towbin Dodge. Jerrell Carroll phone calls are with threatening tones and very revealing. He threatened to keep my deposit unless I returned to the dealership to work out a new deal. His exact words are “TO START FRESH”. I also question why The Director Of Security Jerrell Carroll is also making new deals for Towbin Dodge? Towbin Dodge is dishonest and threatened me not to post blogs and report them to the State of Nevada Attorney General Office. More
We bought a new 08 Dodge Ram, signed papers Nov.8. They didn't pay off our trade-in until December 26 and Wachovia turned it in on our credit resulting in almost a 100 point drop in credit scores. There ar didn't pay off our trade-in until December 26 and Wachovia turned it in on our credit resulting in almost a 100 point drop in credit scores. There are other problems, too numerous to mention. I could write a book. Bottom line is they are liars and crooks and I would walk before I would buy anything else from them. More
I was traveling cross country in my new car from Atlanta on 3/2/08 when I noticed I was bit overdue on my oil change. Just for laughs, we went to Towbin since we had seen the dealership featured on A&E. We on 3/2/08 when I noticed I was bit overdue on my oil change. Just for laughs, we went to Towbin since we had seen the dealership featured on A&E. We pulled into the service bay (which was empty of cars by the way). The had the 29 minute guarantee on oil changes and thought it would be nice to snap a few pictures......As I was about to get out of my car, I was stopped by the manager who immediately told me he was not doing anymore oil changes for the rest of the day. Thinking I did not change my clock to the local time, I noticed it was only 9:30 am! I attempted to ask him where else I could go to get my oil changed, he instead cut me off in mid sentence and told me I could back out the way I came in! I was so stunned to be treated so poorly, I did not say a word. After reading other reviews, I now understand. Very sad....I hope Chrysler takes note of this and does something about this and gets their dealership into some mandatory training! More
This was, by far, the absolute worst experience of my life! Not only were we at the dealership for NINE hours (literally), but at one point when we tried to leave, two salesmen stood behind our car askin life! Not only were we at the dealership for NINE hours (literally), but at one point when we tried to leave, two salesmen stood behind our car asking what they could do to earn our business! We felt like they were desperate for a sale & maybe they could work something good out for us, so we went back in and finished the transaction. We ended up purchasing the perfect vehicle for our family & were very happy at the end of the day. Two weeks later, I get a call saying that the financing wasn't approved & we needed to return the car! WTF??? I thought the reason we were in the dealership for NINE HOURS was because they were getting the loan approved! In any event, I told them we had driven the car to California on vacation & weren't going to be home for a week & they said just to come in when we got back. We get home & I check my email to find a letter threatening that if the car wasn't returned that they would have it reposessed & any fees incurred, including legal fees, would come out of my down payment! So I return the car & I am told that they won't have the $5000. down payment I gave them for 72 hours, after they inspect the car for any damage & excessive mileage. Of course there's mileage on the car! We thought it was ours so we took it on our vacation! So here we are, waiting for our money back, hoping that they don't dream up any damage & that we'll get most of our money back (by the way, I was told that because of the mileage, they would be deducting $500. from the down payment for sure!!!) To make sure you heard me right, if you buy a car from Towbin & give them CASH down, they can call you two weeks later demanding the car back and STILL KEEP YOUR MONEY!!! Hmmm- If I was a crook I'd say I was in the wrong business! This entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE to say the least! I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They are crooked & an out right RIP OFF! So you still want my opinion on Towbin??? Hahaha- Better cover your kid's ears because I have NOTHING nice to say!!! More

They would not stand up to there 90 day 3000 mile warranty. Also the 121 point inspection they do is a big joke. These guys give a hole new meaning to the word "RUDE" and "RIPE OFF"! My best advise "Don't go there"! (Towbin Dodge) More
I worked at Towbin Dodge back in 2002 as a salesman. While I worked there I noticed many violations of decency and criminal activity. I ended up quitting because you shouldn't treat your customers like While I worked there I noticed many violations of decency and criminal activity. I ended up quitting because you shouldn't treat your customers like he wanted you to, promissing things that you know damn well you can't deliver. Josh Towbin doesn't own Towbin Dodge his father (Dan) does. He (Josh) had to buy every new car on his lot because when Chrysler audited his inventory they were finding cars that were sold 4-6 months prior and Chrysler was not getting the money owed to them. He had a choice of buying the remaining inventory, squaring up on the prior sold out of trust, or Chrysler was going to haul off all of their inventory. That is called sold out of trust. More
