When my car first went in Aaron told me it is not likely the starter, yet when they tested it - it was the starter. But they did not have the part so it would take 3 to 5 days to get it in. I told them I did not want to leave my car that long. So I bought the part myself and took it to them. Then after I left, Aaron called me back to say the ignition lock also was not working and needed to be changed. Again 3 to 5 business days to get the part, add on $800 and still waiting. I was not left much choice about leaving my car since the information was not timely. Towed my car there and would have to tow it back out. Not sure why it takes so long to get parts O'Reilly is able to get parts within two days. Some people can put a whole car together in a week! Try to avoid getting in this situation and you just can't. Don't think I will buy another VW again. More

Happy to sell to you; wont give you the time of day after I bought a van from Tony's Volkswagen about half a year ago. The night we drove it home there was about 20 tiny cockroaches running around between the I bought a van from Tony's Volkswagen about half a year ago. The night we drove it home there was about 20 tiny cockroaches running around between the seats, dashboard, and windows. I had to bug bomb the van 3 times and after that no more roaches. A couple days after having the vehicle it had a bit of a sputtering problem when I was at an idle. I thought that maybe it was old gas in the tank from the vehicle sitting in the lot for an extended amount of time and the problem would be fixed after running a tank or two of gas through it. Well it is still doing it currently; I called them after the vehicle was not idling properly, after I ran 2 tanks of gas through it, they just brushed me off and said its under warranty and that I should go to a Chrysler dealership when they have a couple month warranty on themselves still. I also looked at the Carfax for my van, they sell vehicles to themselves. It was sold from Tony Hyundai in Honolulu to Tony Volkswagen in Waipio. Lastly, my van would not start because the battery is shot. I took a look at it and the battery is a 2013, which is 3 years older than what my van is. I called them and asked why is there an old battery in my van; it seems really odd that someone would replace the original 2016 battery with a 2013 battery. Well, what I thought was a legitimate question, apparently wasn't. He said if the battery was from 1908 and if it were to pass the inspection, they wouldn't take it back if I complained. I really wasn't impressed with how the guy was talking to me. He really made me regret investing in their company when I did business with them. Well it just makes me wonder if there is anything else that could be wrong with my vehicle. I bought a vehicle from them because the last 2 that I had owned I bought from people on Craigslist and I was completely taken advantage of. Tony's has more integrity than those Craigslist guys but than again I paid over 20k for this van. I would of been ok with a simple "no" but the manager wasn't a nice person. Just be careful with dealing with them, they seem really good until after the purchase. Good luck! More

I spoke to Jarem on the phone before arriving at the dealership and informed him I did not want to haggle or hassle on a price point for the new vehicle purchase. By far this has been the best experience, and shortest duration of time spent in a dealership. The sales manager, Paul was very polite, efficient, and honest. He was fair on my trade-in value, and ensured I received all the VW rebates that were applicable to my purchase. Jarem, Kevin, and Paul all worked hard to expedite me in an effort to get me in and out of the dealership. Overall, very happy with my experience and recommend Team Jarem, Kevin, and Paul! I have had good experiences at Tony in the past with both a Passat TDI wagon Jon is the best salesman I have ever worked with when buying a vehicle. I have had good experiences at Tony in the past with both a Passat TDI wagon and a Jetta TDI wagon. Fair, honest, no pressure, no back and forth. It was almost unbelievable. Jon explained the CPO warranty, road service, and features of the car in a clear and direct manner. I would definitely recommend Jon and will ask for him by name every time I come to Tony.
