I must say, of all the vehilces i have purchased (Total of 6) over the years from other dealerships, this experience at Tony HYUNDAI I can honestly say, was "The Best!" Right from the moment I parked and made my way to the entrance, staff was hospitable. I believe John KATO was the first employee I encountered, for he opened the front door for me and welcomed me as well. As soon as I began to look over the Hyudai Santa Fe Sport model in the showroom, I was casually approached by another employee, John KAMAKANA, whom immediately provided his assistance as a salesman, without the usual pushy type of sales tactics I've experienced before. John KAMAKANA gave me my space and allowed me the time to ask the specific questions I had and answered them all. He then walked me through the various models of the Hyundai Santa Fe and once I was settled on one which fit my needs, he asked if I wished to Test Drive the GLS Model which I did. Once I decided on following through with purchasing the vehicle, John KAMAKANA quickly and efficiently began the process of using my current vehicle as a Trade In, and feverishly worked with John KATO to make this sale a success. I got the vehicle I NEEDED, at a Cost I could AFFORD, and that was all made possible through the labor of John KAMAKANA. This is the type of Sales experience I could only wish to encounter in my future dealings, and know for a fact that if I had not had the assistance provided by John KAMAKANA, I doubt that I would have driven away in my First, and Definitely not my Last, HYUNDAI that day! From start to finish, my experience at the Waipahu Tony HYUNDAI was EXCEPTIONAL, and I will certainly be back and refer all family and friends as well! She than told me that they have to run a diagnostic which was 155.00 plus. I didn’t have much time to spare so I preceded on. I waited for an hour and ten minutes, when they parked my van in front of me where I could see it. I sat patiently for another 20 min. The whole time I watched Gina take on 3 customers, which took her about 20min. why would you park your customer’s vehicle where they could see and have them wait 20min on top of the hour 10min they been waiting for already? That is poor customer service! At windward hundi I would Never be treated like that! Windward Hundi has awesome service. You may have something to learn from them! My reason for coming to your facility was becasue you are closer to me and i thought you guys had the same service as windward Hundi. I would rather drive the distance to get better service! More

Considering that they had to rush to get my used car cleaned in time for me to pick up the next day, I would have loved it if they took the time to REALLY clean and detail the car making it feel a bit brand new. The outside was cleaned, but the inside of the car was not cleaned at all. Other than that, I had a great overall experience. More

I have recently went from getting my car serviced at JN Mazda, on Nimitz Highway, to Tony Hyundai and ever since my first experience I don't ever plan on going back. Today was only my second time getting m Mazda, on Nimitz Highway, to Tony Hyundai and ever since my first experience I don't ever plan on going back. Today was only my second time getting my car serviced there but already I know the employees at Tony Hyundai do an exceptional job. My service representative for today was Thomas Churchill. His professionalism, knowledge of the service done to my vehicle, and customer car was outstanding! Within the next couple years I plan on trading in my Mazda for a brand new Hyundai and I couldn't be more excited. My family already has three Hyundai's from this dealership and I want to make it four! Once again, everyone at Tony Hyundai did an outstanding job and I look forward to visiting everyone there again in the future. -Ian Balag More
When I walked in with my Brother and Sister in law, (All I was told, by my Korean wife, was to go with them to look at a car.) It was around dinner time and everyone seemed to be eating something. Sale rep Jason Bignell immediately put down his food and came over to greet us. I was in the dark as to what my relatives were shopping for. Did I mention she's Korean and only understands a few words of English, her husband is Korean and has been in America for about 20 years, and I speak no Korean. I felt like Jason and I sort of teamed up to ask the questions needed to find out what they wanted. Despite these challenges, we were able to drill down and find out what their price range was. Jason showed the highest level of patience, honesty, and integrity which, in my opinion, enabled them to trust him, which eventually led them to purchase a brand new, 2014 Accent, at what I believe to be a very good deal. I must give kudos to Ryan Smolen as well, for his very helpful knowledge of Korean, and input that made closing the deal, a win win for everyone. There was never any pressure and they earn your respect and trust. More
