Thoroughbred Nissan has won the Owner's 1st Award of Excellence for the last three years by earning consistantly high customer service survey scores. It sounds like you had an atypical experience at our dealership. I also know, however, that our management only asks customers to leave in cases where the safety of our staff or other guests is comprimised. If you have any concerns, I encourage you to contact our general manager, Johnny Lohrman, at (520)618-6500.

I know it is extremely frustrating to be told that things look brighter than they actually are. When a manager reviews a credit application they use their years of experience to judge how a bank or lending institution will most likely rate the application. It is our goal to have all of our applications approved and at the very best rates currently available. Unfortunately there are at times extenuation circumstances which cause a bank or lending institution to not see the opportunity as positively as our managers. When this happens the only course of action is to wait for the situation to improve or resolve itself. As time goes by and the credit score continues to improve so do the lending options. Please, as time goes by and your situation improves, give us another change to earn you as a valued customer and a member of the Thoroughbred family.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Although our sales staff is highly trained in the operation of our vehicles they are not a substitute for our certified mechanics when it comes to determining an issue with a vehicle. Thoroughbred Nissan has a State-of-the-Art 24 Bay Service Department and a full complement of qualified ASE Certified Mechanics to analyze and repair almost any make and model vehicle. I encourage any of our guests experiencing mechanical issues to contact our Service Technicians for mechanical advice, you won't be disappointed.

Thoroughbred Nissan responded

First, let me start by thanking you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I know how frustrating it can be when something goes wrong with a major piece of equipment. We expect the operation to be flawless day after day. When the equipment fails to meet these expectations we tend to loose faith in that product. I don’t think it is prudent to proclaim that Thoroughbred Nissan and Nissan vehicles are bad due to a fuel gauge that failed and the out-of-warranty item was not replaced without an out-of-pocket expense. Nissan Corporation has been making safe, sound, quality vehicles for over 80 years and Thoroughbred Nissan has been serving our community with quality, friendly, honest service for over 40 of those years. We do realize that the staff of Thoroughbred Nissan is not perfect and we are always trying to improve our performance. Nissan makes a great product at a great value and we hope to continue to provide our community quality service. Thanks again for your input and I hope that this message finds you having a great day!
