In February 2011, I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Terry Reid Hyundai. It was the best vehicle decision I've made in a long time. The sales staff is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. I had several criteria my 'new' car needed to meet, and the staff knew immedately which cars on the lot would work for me. Three days after purchasing the vehicle, I was traveling on Interstate 75 when a large truck lost an item from its trailer and I couldn't avoid running over it. My front left tire popped immediately. I called Terry Reid Hyundai and they put me in touch with a roadside assistance service...and then they called back to make sure I was ok while waiting on the service truck. The next day I took my car to their service department where I was greeted by a friendly, professional staff. The service took no time at all, but while I was there, I sat in a comfortable waiting room, where the owner dropped in to see how I liked my car. I've never experienced that at another dealership. I've taken my car in for general maintenance a couple of times since then. Each visit has been just like the first. I'm treated very respectfully by a friendly group of honest people. I recommend Terry Reid Hyundai to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
Sold us a used Hyundai, claiming we had 30K left on our bumper to bumper warranty, serviceable at any Hyundai dealership. Failed to give us the service record though (despite claiming this was their car re bumper to bumper warranty, serviceable at any Hyundai dealership. Failed to give us the service record though (despite claiming this was their car released from a recent lease.) Not giving us the service records nullifies our warranty, as we learned--we have no way to actually use it. We've called and written the agent, the customer service line and the owner over a dozen times, to get them to give us the records. We got no repsonse, got the brush off each time. These guys are NOT interested in repeat business. They should have honored our request to at least honor the warranty themselves, as this was a sales point they were claiming for this vehicle. There are many honest dealerships out there--sadly, this is not one of them. STAY AWAY! More
My wife and I drive from NYC to Marietta to visit family every year. In 2006, I was in need of a new car. While on a visit to the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, we came upon the Terry Reid Kia de every year. In 2006, I was in need of a new car. While on a visit to the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, we came upon the Terry Reid Kia dealership just around the corner. My sister had served with the US Army in Seoul, Korea and spoke highly of Korean culture. Besides, the Kia came with a 10 year warranty! While visiting Georgia over the holidays last month, we decided to trade in our Optima. We went back to Terry Reid because I remember being treated there quite well. This time I had my eye on the "2012 Car of the Year" Hyundai Elantra. Upon our unannounced arrival at Terry Reid Hyundai, we were recognized immediately as former customers by Claudia and treated with that Great Southern Hospitality in their new showroom! Our salesperson, Ariana Smith made us feel right at home. We test drove a the Sonata, Genesis and the Elantra. Ariana connected the Bluetooth for me and was everything one could wish for in a salesperson, no pressure, knowledgeable and trustworthy! Ben, the finance manager, had me out in a flash with a great rate too. At the last minute I said to Ariana I needed a front license plate holder in NY, she had the parts dept install one on the spot. Buying the car of the year...................smart move. Getting a great value on a trade in..........good business sense. Being treated as a loyal & valued customer...PRICELESS. I researched new cars and decided on a Hyundai. My husband and I visited Cherokee Hyundai in Kennesaw and although I found a car I liked, things went downhill from there. The salesman was pleasant enough and we negotiated and had approved a deal. The next day, my husband and I were on the way to purchase the car when the salesman called and said his sales manager decided they would not, in fact, make the deal we had negotiated. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and would steer anyone away from Cherokee Hyundai. I was determined to find another Hyundai dealer and made the trip to Terry Reid Hyundai in Cartersville. Your dealership puts Cherokee Hyundai to shame. As a matter of fact, your dealership sales staff was/is better than all of the different dealerships I visited in search of a new car. (and I looked at many cars before deciding on the Hyundai.) The sales staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable and made a deal work for us. My husband and I found a car and purchased it. After the car purchase, there were a few glitches. However, Terry Reid Hyundai never skirted the issue, handled the problem and I couldn't be more pleased. Terry Reid Hyundai has most certainly raised the bar on customer service to a new standard. They will go out of their way to find the Hyundai you want at the lowest possible price. Their prompt attention to problems is exemplary. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. Thanks again to Dexter, Joe, Ariana and Claudia for your patience and professionalism. More
My husband and I visited several dealerships including those in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama; we even contacted the internet regional sales office in order to help us find the exact 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe those in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama; we even contacted the internet regional sales office in order to help us find the exact 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe that had all the PAC6 features and the color that we wanted in our new car. Shortly after calling Terry Reid Hyundai, we received a phone message from Ariana Smith who gave us exciting news that they had just received the car. We drove over an hour to this dealership because (1) they had the car with all the bells and whistles we required, and(2) Ariana made us feel like we had won the lottery (after all the research we had done we think we really did win the lottery!)The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating (our dog, Emma, was treated like the princess she thinks she is LOL)We bought the car on the spot and after a bit of time going thoroughly over details and writing a check, we drove away in our wonderful new car! We cannot say enough about the respectful and friendly staff. We will make the drive to Terry Reid Hyundai to get our regular service on the car because of the confidence we have that the entire staff have the skills to keep us satisfied. Ariana Smith, my salesperson, Dexter, the floor manager, the leasing manager and the Sales manager all displayed a personal interest in making the transaction work and work to my satisfaction. This dealer is 70 miles from my home. However, the overall experience easily justified the travel. I initially contacted 7 dealers by internet or phone, with varying degrees of responsiveness, and with Reid recommended by Consumer Reports. I also take a dealer’s first price as his best price, no negotiation or shopping prices. Reid simply was the best, on all counts and the transaction took 24 hours, from initial internet contact to driving the car off their lot. The car, a 2012 Genesis, has provided me a tight, comfortable and responsive ride in a well equipped and appointed interior. In short, a joy thus far. More

First I went to Jim Ellis, they didn't care about me, then I went to Rick Case, same story, then I went to Cherokee Hyundai, and to buy a car from. Finally I decided that I would go to the one dealer that didn't hace 100+ ratings, Terry Reid Hyundai. I was greeted by a very professional and clean cut young man, Alec Martino, and a respectful Sales Manager, Joe. I told both of them exactly what I wanted, and Alec said that he had the perfect car in mind. A minute later he pulled up in a BEAUTIFUL Hyundai Genesis. It had everything that I wanted plus more! I have already recommended them to all of my friends and will continue to buy cars from them! More

I explained my concerns to the manager, he understood and located me another car exactly the same color and made everything 100% right. The outcome was great, I received a new car Like I wanted with no defects! It's great to work with a dealership that's honest and understands the customers concerns! They've definetly earned my respect and my future business. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or used car!!! CHRIS A. More
