Had to jumpstart Highlander after not running vehicle between Monday night and Friday morning. Highlander started fine with the jump, but ‘Check engine’ and ‘See Dealer for Service’ messages came on. S between Monday night and Friday morning. Highlander started fine with the jump, but ‘Check engine’ and ‘See Dealer for Service’ messages came on. Scheduled service appointment thru the Toyota app, which was easy. Service took 2 hrs… twice as long as the service rep told me to expect. As we’d initially discussed when I arrived, there were no problems, it was just the error message that the dealer had to reset. Don’t know why that took 2 hrs. Also bought wheel locks. Had to wait while one employee talked on the the while the other stood around doing nothing because she couldn’t log in to the system. The only reason it wasn’t annoying was because I was already stuck waiting 2 hrs for them to reset the check engine message on my vehicle. More

Just had regular service and all went well - almost. Service was to take about an hour, but they finished after 1-3/4 hours. As I started to drive away, I saw that my mileage and direction screen ha Service was to take about an hour, but they finished after 1-3/4 hours. As I started to drive away, I saw that my mileage and direction screen had been changed to something else and I didn’t know how to get it back to how I had it - so I had to get service helper (he never did tell me his name) to put it back the way it was. Then I left, went about 2 blocks, stopped at a store. As I started my car again, the “maintenance needed soon” showed up. So back to dealership to grab service guy again to make it go away. It’s Not a big deal to change the settings, but a big nuisance that should be done routinely as cars are serviced. you guys know how to do it - I don’t. More
