I would not recommend this dealership. After purchasing 4 cars from Hall Hyundai, we have experienced a significant decrease in service since Southern took over. Earlier this year, a moldi After purchasing 4 cars from Hall Hyundai, we have experienced a significant decrease in service since Southern took over. Earlier this year, a molding piece for my Palisade came off. I coordinated with Southern to have the issue fixed when I brought the car in for routine service. When I picked up the car, the molding piece was not fixed. Brenda, who is amazing, got with the service shop and had them take care of the issue. Unfortunately, they did not fully take care of the issue, as the newly installed piece flew off my car about a week later. When I called to let them know what happened, I was told they would make me an appointment to take a look, but I would be charged for the appointment. When I questioned this, the tech admitted that most likely the part was not installed correctly, but they would still need to charge me. I cancelled the appointment and opted to wait until I was there in person for my next service to discuss the issue. In early July, I brought the car in for service. When I picked it up, I discussed the issue with the bay manager. He took a look at the car and explained that the track that hold the molding was broken and that this most likely caused the molding piece they installed to fly off. He let me know that he would order the part and that they would call me when it arrived to schedule an appointment at no cost. I waited over a month, but did not receive a call. I called the dealership in early August. I was transferred to multiple people and kept on hold for over 10 minutes as no one seemed to know anything about the part of the work. My call was finally transferred to the service manager, Derrick, so that I could leave a message. Derrick called me the following day to let me know the part was on backorder, which was why there was a delay. He stated that the part should arrive the following week and that someone would call me by the middle of the next week, at the latest to schedule the service appointment. I never received a call. In early September, I called again to ask about the status. The receptionist I spoke to was very nice and she tried to be helpful, unfortunately, no update was available. After being kept on hold for about 10 minutes she let me know that both Derrick and Chris had gone to the parts area, but could not locate the part. The service team was unsure what the hold up was, but they were working the issue and would be back to me by the following day at the latest to give me an update. I never received a return phone call. Approximately 2 weeks later, I called again. The receptionist who answered was not nice and was very unhelpful. He did not even try to provide me with any information, he just said all the service techs were busy and that someone would call me back. I'm still waiting for someone to return that call. Needless to say, I will NOT purchase another car from this dealership and have no plans to ever purchase another Hyundai. I did go online to try to figure out why the part was so hard to get, imagine my surprise when it was available through multiple parts vendors. I guess Southern has a very limited supply chain that is not able to utilize the multitude of available parts markets I found using Goggle. I did think about reaching out to another dealership, but at this point was just disgusted with the entire brand and frankly did not want to pay again to have the repair made. I have since gotten ride of the Palisade as every time I saw the missing molding it irritated me and I was not going to reach out to Southern to be ignored yet again. If you do choose to use Southern, be advised that they are not responsive, lack basic customer service, and in my opinion are the WORST dealership I have had the horror of dealing with and that is saying something as a previous non-Hyundai dealership I took my car to actually lost my car for about 30 minutes. More
