Absolutely unacceptable. I brought my Hyundai in for a basic oil change. No tire rotation. No additional maintenance. Just an oil change. My bill was $181. When I questioned it, I was told it was because they used full synthetic oil. Seriously? Full synthetic oil is completely normal on modern vehicles. I don’t pay $181 for full synthetic oil changes on my BMW, Lincoln, or Chevy Suburban, yet somehow a basic Hyundai oil change at Southern Hyundai costs that much. My Hyundai dealer in Tampa charges me around $50, and another Hyundai dealership right down the road here advertises an oil change for around $69. So blaming this on “full synthetic” does absolutely nothing to justify the price. In my opinion, $181 for a basic oil change is grossly excessive and completely out of line with what customers should reasonably expect. I walked out feeling taken advantage of, and the explanation afterward only made it worse. The issue isn’t that I can’t afford $181. The issue is that I expect a dealership to operate with some level of fairness and transparency. If you can’t trust a dealership on something as simple as an oil change, why would you trust them with a major repair? If you service your vehicle here, get the full price in writing before they touch your car. I will absolutely not be back. More

Went in for a oil change and it took 2hrs. I had a appointment for 10:00 no one came out to update me that they were running behind. After 1hr I went up to ask how much longer for my car? I have purchased 6 vehicles from this dealership wit Lamar Gresham being our salesman...He was awesome every time we were there and the buying process is great!!! The only negative i have is service and trying to schedule oul changes...sometimes I've gone a week trying to schedule an oul change and has even had to contact Lamar on occasions to assist...then after Im there for the oul change I sit and wait almost three hrs which to me is a lengthy amount of time for an oil change..by no means is this review directed to Lamar Greaham because he is great... as a side note I just recieved a call from the service manager with an apology for the trial of setting up appointments and a solution to rectify this going forward...Have been a loyal customer since our first purchase and they have renewed my faith and respect for this dealership...awesome group of people More
