In September I had a friend come with me to buy a used car. I have always gone to a dealership in the past because I had confidence in what I was buying. I purchased a used Toyota RAV4 ($25,000) with ve car. I have always gone to a dealership in the past because I had confidence in what I was buying. I purchased a used Toyota RAV4 ($25,000) with very low mileage from Southern 441 Toyota. I was told it was a lease that was turned in and shown a clean Carfax report. Both my friend and I looked over the car and when getting to the back, the salesman opened the hatch. Everything looked good and I even purchased the extended warranty. About 1 week later I washed the car and that's when I noticed these 2 "streaks" on the exterior back hatch. It looked like a deficiency in the paint or something. I went back to show the salesman and ask what it was - he said he didn't know and not to worry. I asked if the paint was covered under warranty?? No. About 2 weeks after that, the streaks started to bubble, and the paint was coming off! I went back and asked to speak with a manager who told me they bought it at an auction and if any paint work was done, it was not by Toyota! There was nothing he could do because it was a used car. He offered me the number of their paint guy who may give me a discount. I called and they never called back. I went to MY collision/paint guys and they immediately knew that who ever had painted it had let water get beneath it, making it bubble. I wanted it fixed and they agreed at $750. My guys had it 4 days (I had the use of another car at the time) and when I picked it up - they didn't want to put the emblems back on because they felt their paint wouldn't stick, something was "off". They said who ever painted it before had used such an inferior product that it messed up the car. They also could tell it had been in a collision. Sure enough, they were right and within 2 weeks it was bubbling terribly. They stand by their work and are doing it again, for free, as I type. They said they would have to really grind down the back to start fresh. This time I had to rent a car at $60/day! I am shocked at the lack of customer service I received at the Southern 441 Toyota dealership. I told the manager I am leaving there a very unhappy customer - aside from taking the car back and giving me something else, they offered me nothing. Why would I trust them with a different car? This was not an inexpensive purchase! I will NEVER use them again and warn everyone to be leery of Carfax reports and what the employees tell you. I'm still hopeful my paint guys will have success because they are the best! More

Pablo Perez is my service adviser. He is very thorough. He recommended replacement of the cabin filter and the air filter. My car rides much better now. I had to ask to have the car washed. However, I think the car wash and vacuuming should be included and they should ask this ahead of time. More

James Barton the manager confirmed the deal with my husband. We came in to buy a Toyota Camry, the out the door price and the financing was all agreed upon via calls , texts and e mails. Once we were almost finished with the financing they added $2500 to the out the door price they had promised us. Needless to say we did not buy the car, we wasted hours of our time and left very upset and discusted at the experience!!! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They will tell you anything to get you in the door and then change the entire deal. Very unprofessional and insulting. IVETA More
We placed a 500 deposit on a 2015 Nissan Juke via CC. We were told the car was put to the side and it was ours. We arranged a shipper as we were out of state. Salesman called the next morning and said they took another deposit and whoever got the money their first won the car. Normally I would tell a shady business tactic like this to shove it!! But the way they were acting I was concerned they would keep our deposit. Bank was minutes from wiring money on Monday when dealer called and said we lost the competition and the other people got it??? Told them what I thought of their dealership. No apology nothing.. CC refunded. Next day three fraudulent charges on our card from that city in Florida. Had to cancel CC and refute changes with CC company. Avoid this place at all costs. Getting this info out as much as I can..BBB and any review site. These guys re crooked with no ethics.. Beware!! More
