Went in for a recall on a 2022 Hyundai ioniq5 for a update they declined to provide me with a loaner giving me the excuse that there were 20 customer ahead of me requesting one , Hyundai knew that ther update they declined to provide me with a loaner giving me the excuse that there were 20 customer ahead of me requesting one , Hyundai knew that there was a Recall and should have prepared for this but obviously they were not ! They did provide me with a Uber to my office however they refused to send one to pick me up from my office to pick up my car , this time the PATHETIC EXCUSE they used was that I was OUTSIDE their service area ???? Can you believe this I was NOT OUTSIDE THEIR SERVICE AREA in the morning but I am outside their service area in the evening ????? I was also told that they are INDEPENDENTLY OWNED and that they had already spent $45 dollars on me I am ther customer who gave them $60k and they are worried about $45 SHAME ON THEM !! I came to this dealership SOUTH BAY HYUNDAI because on the building it reads HYUNDAI it dosent read INDEPENDENTLY OWNED. These guys are so SLICK that when they go swimming they DONT get WET !! The customer service department SUCKS better than a DYSON VACUUM CLEANER !! THIS PLACE IS ROTTEN from the EGG TO THE CHICKEN AND VICE VERSA . I had a friend drop me off to pick up my car and they were supposed to WASH my car which they didn’t !! I wished I had NEVER bought this 60K car please stay AWAY . On a separate note my small battery which is in the front of the car DIED now mind you this car is LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD !! I was at the beach enjoying my cup of coffee and my car just DIED would Not start or anything so I called AAA they jumped my car and the AAA driver advised me to go get a NEE battery as this one would not hold the charge and my car will NOT start if I turned it off , I immediately called SOUTH BAY HYUNDAI as UNFORTUNATELY they are very close to my office but I was told that they would not be Abel to help me till next week !! How am I suppose to go around for a week without shutting off my car ??!!! So I went to the nearest auto shop and bought myself a compatible battery . The Auto shop confirmed that my battery would NOT hold the charge and he did give a computer print out showing that . I submitted all the receipts to HYUNDAI CLAIMS DEPARTMENT and I am still waiting for a response it’s been 10 DAYS TODAY !! I WOULD NOT TRUST HYUNDAI EVEN IF THEIR TONGUE CAME NOTARIZE , even RAY CHARLES & STEVE WONDER can SEE that HYUNDAI is taking you for a RIDE !! So in ending STAY AWAY from HYUNDAI these people IF THEY ARE NOT KISSING THE BABIES THEY ARE STEALING THEIR TOYS !! More
Technican found damage to ball joint sleeve connected to rack and pinon, damaged causing the clicking sound when turning. needs to replace rack and pinion. No cover my warranty due to my own hit. They wanted to charge almost $2500 to fix it. And False statement about repairs to avoid my warranty. Never go this place for repair or service. More
