We had no intention of actually leasing/buying a car the day we visited Smithtown Nissan to look at the new Maxima. When Matt Brown approached us he was friendly and accommodating, but not pushy. When we picked it up, he spent a great deal of time familiarizing us with it. We have bought or leased many cars, but we both agreed that this was a very positive experience from start to finish. I was comparison shopping between a few new models. I had totally forgotten about the Altima as a mid size vehicle. I was strolling the lot by myself (all the sales reps were busy, really, the place was packed) and I stumbled across Billy Doyle. I explained to him I was just looking, he pointed me in the right direction and stepped off to take care of a customer. Maybe it was my wandering but Billy came back and said I had to have a few questions. He proudly explained the vehicle details in and out, almost as if he built it by hand himself. I went into the showroom and chatted with Billy and Ray. They treated me like a celebrity even knowing I wasn't there to buy. I could see they were generally good people who just enjoyed their job. I took their cards and pamphlets and drove home. The deal was too good to pass up. Bottom line, it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Billy Doyle never pressured me once. Treated me like family and let me make the decision. He has even called to follow up on many occasions. Great car, great dealership, even better people. More
