Smithtown Nissan

I came in with the desire to get out of my old Nissan Maxima lease and start a lease on the new 2014 Nissan Altima. In addition, I wanted to have lower payments than my Maxima but still have many of the Maxima lease and start a lease on the new 2014 Nissan Altima. Between the exceptional salesman Larry and the manager Joe, I was able to do just that. I got a deal that was better than what I had hoped for. I also received attention and exceptional costumer service that I had not had at the other dealerships with prior car purchases. Despite wind, rain and cold, Larry went out with me to the parking lot to look at the different cars and color options/combinations. He pulled out two different cars for me to test drive while I was waiting inside a warm, cozy dealership floor. He took care of all paperwork, insurance and registration matters in phenomenally brisk period of time. From the time I walked into the dealer and after all of the discussions, explanations, thinking, choosing, test driving, moving things from old to new car and signing paperwork, I was driving away from the dealer in my Brand New Altima in less than 200minutes (just over 3hours). Absolutely incredible, as it has taken me longer to once buy a computer from best buy. That evening, as I was walking to my condominium, a neighbor noticed that I got a new car, so I stopped and chatted with him about it. He asked me which dealer I went to, assuming it was Atlantic, which is the closer own to our complex, but I made sure to mention that it was Smithtown Nissan and that it was a fantastic experience, something that should be the gold standard for all dealerships. I had been to a number of dealerships and the first thing to impress me at Smithtown Nissan was when Keith greeted my daughter and I at the door. He was kind and not pushy. After taking care of my ill husband for years and then his passing this past August, I was not emotionally, or financially ready to NEED a car. As fate would have it, both my vehicles broke down and required too great an investment to fix. I was determined to get a reliable car, one that also felt safe. After the test drive, I knew the Altima was for me. Keith negotiated and worked with me until a price was met, with great satisfaction from me. My daughter and I could tell that Keith was genuinely happy for us, that means much. As for Will, he too, was terrific. I was only browsing the show room when my husband and I came in while waiting for an oil change on my Frontier when we were approached by Jillian. I quickly told her that we were not interested in buying a car, we were just killing time while my oil change was done. She was understanding but evidently made me an offer that I could not refuse. I was under severe time restraints but she and Joe and Christian all made it possible for me to drive away in my fabulous new truck in record time. I had absolutely no intention to buy a truck that afternoon but thanks to Jill and Joe and Christian I did. And, I am thrilled.
