Sold me a car I really did not want I went in to buy a new Rav4. Manny Medina was my salesmen. He asked me if I would be interested on a certified 2016 Rav4. I said sure I would check it I went in to buy a new Rav4. Manny Medina was my salesmen. He asked me if I would be interested on a certified 2016 Rav4. I said sure I would check it out. The only thing I wanted in my car was remote start and the only colors I did not want was black, white,or red. He brought me out a black Rav4. It's a beautiful car. It has a lot of extras in it. Manny even told me it had new tires on it . I thought it was odd since the car had very low milage on it. That was a lie. He also told me it was a leased car with only 1 owner. That was a lie.The car was a rental. My husband and I took it for a test drive. The car drove great. But I did not want a black car. When he gave me a quote for the car I said I wanted to look at a new car, that it was too much money for a CPO. We went out to the lot looking for new and I believe his name was Carlos came out with a different quote of $26,800. I said thats bottom line. Tax, and tags. That's what I will pay. He said yes. so we went in to sign papers I find out the car was a rental, not a 1 owner lease. When I got my 1st payment in the mail i found that I bought the car for $29,157.00 and not bottom line of $26,800. WOW what a shock!! I bought this car based on a bunch of lies.. I am afraid to see what else happens in the near future. we didn't even look at the new cars. Why did they want to unload this car? I feel like a big giant sucker!! The funny thing is Toyota is a great car. They sell themselves. Why Lie? When I got the car home i found there was a bunch of swerls in the paint so i tryed to wash the car and the swerls didn't come out and there was it looked like coffee stains on the driver side set. I am very unhappy with the car. The reason for buying a new car was to give our daughter our old car. Our son will be driving in 2 more years. By then we should be close to paying off our new car and be ready to get a new truck so we can give our son the old one. I am sad to say we probably wont use shore Toyota. Considerate staff make getting service a pleasure. Employee scheduling appointment was extremely helpful in finding a time to fit in my busy schedule and arranged shuttle to pick me up from work. Good, efficient service and customer friendly. Only problem I had that while servicing, my front clear mat was removed from the driver's side of my vehicle and put in my tru and customer friendly. Only problem I had that while servicing, my front clear mat was removed from the driver's side of my vehicle and put in my trunk. The clear mat neither shifts nor moves. If it did, I would remove it myself. The service personnel had no right to do that without asking my permission. My car was there for an oil change and tire rotation. They had no right to touch anything else unless I was informed. I suspect they had orders from Toyota Corp. because of the alleged problems with the driver's side car mat that came with some Toyotas. At any rate, I'm giving a four-star due to the mat issue. More

Dissapointing I was sold a vehicle on a Monday and was called five days later to be told I did not have financing. They said I needed at least 2,000 more or bring v I was sold a vehicle on a Monday and was called five days later to be told I did not have financing. They said I needed at least 2,000 more or bring vehicle back even though I had a signed contract. They offered no other solution. The night I bought the vehicle and left I was told it was a done deal and the vehicle was mine. I was so excited only to find out I now have to return the vehicle. I called the sales person Sharif Smith and told him I would be in Monday night to return vehicle and I would need my vehicle and the $500 refund that I originally put down. I get there at 7pm and had to sit and wait for Sharif then only to find out that they broke the bolts off on the license plate and the manager was not there to approve my refund. I asked Sharif why didn't he call and let me know as this was hard enough on me he said well you get to take the RAV4 home again. I came back Tuesday to only find out that Sharif was not there and I then had to tell another person why I was there. Now keep in mind I called the GM RON and left him a voice mail and never got a return call. So I sat and wait until a man came up to me and asked for my CC so they could do the refund. I gave him my card and was calling my insurance company to get my vehicle put back on my insurance. He brings the receipt and card and ask if there was anything else and of course I said no. He never introduced himself and never apologized and as a matter of fact not one per there apologized for any of this. I now have to go and get my car inspected as my insurance company stated because I took it off they need to make sure there is no damage. (Once again another inconvenience to me). I get to the inspection place to only receive a call from a RON asking me where I parked the RED RAV4 (Mind you the vehicle was a Silver/Gray). I told him where and he stated the key was missing so I checked and sure enough I still had the keys. In the same time period I realized my registration is now missing and I cannot get the car inspected without it. This Ron states he will be outside to meet me to take the key back and he will look for the registration. I get to dealership and no RON but I see a worker who appears to be looking for a vehicle, I roll down my window and asked him if he was looking for some keys and he states no but I am looking for a RAV4. I said here are the keys please give them to RON and I pointed to the RAV4 and he states this RAV4 and I stated yes that is the vehicle I had and no it was never red. The worker said ok thanks and I left. Now this RON did state he would get me a duplicate registration and I could pick it up. I said yes at first but as I thought about it over night I decided I will deal with it myself as I will most likely get there and it won't be there anyway. I work for Superior Court and deal with litigants everyday and customer service is key in our system. You should take notes and it really would not have cost them one penny to either clean my car, wax it, offer free oil changes, tire rotations anything to try to get me to come back and not have such ill feelings towards SHORE TOYOTA but not one thing was offered not one. When I had the keys I told RON that I apologized that I did still had them, but yet not one person there offered an apology to me at any point and time. My insurance company was nicer to me then anyone at Shore Toyota. By the way if it was the general manager Ron that I dealt with yesterday he needs to get some people and management skill training. I can assure you I will not be recommending Shore Toyota to anyone and in fact all the people who knew I got a new vehicle from where I work not to mention family and personal friends will know this story and how it did not end well. More
