I visited Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis on December 7 with the intent of purchasing/leasing a new car. Before going to the dealership, I went over the checklist; (1) know your credit score, (2) know the blue the intent of purchasing/leasing a new car. Before going to the dealership, I went over the checklist; (1) know your credit score, (2) know the blue book value of the car you intend to purchase, (3) set a fixed amount and don't over reach because you like or love the car, etc. Needless to say my guard was up and I was not going to be caught off guard. However, that's just what happened. The salesperson I worked with was Shandrial Hudson and she was and I'm sure still is personable, friendly, jovial - all of the above. Her good-humor put me at ease and in no time we were test driving cars, and talking to each other as if we were long-time friends. During my time at the dealership, I almost forgot that I was there for a business transaction. Once we started talking dollars, they worked with me to get the price down to what I considered affordable, instead of politely showing me the door. Shandrial's professionalism and candor caught me off guard, because I did not expect that a car buying experience could be so great. I left the dealership with a new Lexus GS 350 - AWD. I've only had the car for a couple of weeks, and I'm still figuring out a lot of things on it, however Shandrial has offered to take my calls about all the accoutrements that I'm finding on the car and help me understand all the little things to make my possession of the car that much more pleasant and enjoyable. I recently purchased a Lexus RX350 from Edward Jackson at Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis. Mike Bowen is everything you look for in a salesperson when you are looking to purchase a car. He is knowledgeable, patient, honest, and easy going. While looking for a car for my daughter, we narrowed when you are looking to purchase a car. He is knowledgeable, patient, honest, and easy going. While looking for a car for my daughter, we narrowed it down to the Audi A4 and Lexus IS250. She didn't need the car for a few months so we had time on our side to make the right decision. We visited the dealership three times before we made our decision and not once did Mike ever try to pressure us to leave with a car that day. We decided on the IS 250 but they didn't have the color we wanted in stock. We decided to wait and Mike sent us emails letting us know what colors were coming in. He could have pushed to get one from another dealer to make things happen faster but he didn't. In fact, after a couple of weeks went by, i told him which dealer had the color we wanted to move things along. He knew that and could have made the deal happen faster but didn't want to push us. He got the car, we went over a few options and did the deal. Did i get the best price out there, probably not. The point is, i liked Mike and the dealership enough that i told him to get me the best he can and write it up. Finance with Chris Powell was also a pleasure. No hard sell, high finance rate or anything else... in and out. More
