If you can do without your vehicle for a month, enjoy spotty and often nonexistent communication and relish getting the runaround, then Seattle Jeep's service department is just the place for you! I brou spotty and often nonexistent communication and relish getting the runaround, then Seattle Jeep's service department is just the place for you! I brought my 2013 Wrangler in for warranty repairs on a two-year-old engine on July 14 and didn't get it back until August 22. During that time I received occasional assurances from service adviser Eliza Soderberg that service techs were "about to" get started on my Jeep only to go a week or two between additional communication. My texts were ignored, emails unanswered and phone calls to the dealership were simply an exercise in frustration (I have memorized their on-hold music). I finally reached out to other regional Jeep dealers and they were at a loss to explain why it was taking so long for a relatively routine repair. One dealer suggested I get Jeep's customer care people involved and once I did my Jeep was ready the next day. Never again, Seattle Jeep. More
Quick service with detailed invoice before and after work is performed so there are no surprises. The treatment I received was completely transactional with minimal communication. The service representative I worked with was detached and almost condescending, and would only respond to my questions wi with minimal communication. The service representative I worked with was detached and almost condescending, and would only respond to my questions with, “the tests show the vehicle is working to specification.” I had hoped there was some explanation or some communication with the manufacturer, but that request was refused. The issue in question is a dangerous behaviors flat towing. We managed to find some ways to work around the issues, but the steering and braking behaviors of the vehicle has addded considerable stress to our travels. With this experience, I do not anticipate returning to this dealer for further maintenance and it’s unlikely I’ll buy another Jeep. More
