No follow through or attention paid. I brought my car in by a preset appointment on Tuesday evening for an early Wed. appointment and dropped it off. I asked if the warranty is covering it and Jonathan said he was not aware of the warranty ( which we discussed at drop off and they already had a copy of) . He submitted the claim and said it would take about a day for approval. Jonathan called with approval the next day and said they have the part and could start on it and it should hopefully be done Friday afternoon and he would call. I waited until 4 PM and called them. Service told me my car has been ready. When I asked why I wasn't called the woman said it was because my service writer wasn't in. I don't think I have to explain to you why this is an issue. They were closing at 5 and not open again until Tuesday. They did not have the invoice billed . I had them switch me over to sales and they took my CC and left my keys for me to pick up. Luckily I could pick it up before the long weekend. My wife has had Cadillacs for past 12 years and always used Scranton for Service. When I bought my new Suburban I decided to use them also. Not sure I made the right choice. More
The manager took control of the situation and within 2 weeks had my seat cover replaced. No hassles. The young man that washed my car was wonderful and polite. The repairs required an additional day do to your staff not having experience with low beam headlight problems. I am not sure if the problem is resolved do to an absence of adjustment to correct the conce not having experience with low beam headlight problems. Your shop supervisor made an adjustment and advised me to see if the adjustment resolved the light pointing to the left. Your staff keep me advised as to the progress and were very polite. More
I have debated whether or not to write a candid review of my recent service experience and to continue utilizing Scranton for service on my vehicles. I should note at the onset that my displeasure is not di my recent service experience and to continue utilizing Scranton for service on my vehicles. I should note at the onset that my displeasure is not directed at my service technician (Bill) who was cordial, professional and responsive. My issue was the amount I was charged for a very simple accessory (sequential taillight strip) installation. I have witnessed that installation previously at a Chevrolet dealership and know precisely what is involved. To charge almost $300 for that is very excessive. Consider, that Scranton already had my Colorado for a warranty issue (Gas door) and at least one recall issue. Also, I had already paid for the taillight lighting strip some time ago. I understand that “service” is a substantial part of a dealership’s revenue, but to charge that amount, while you already had the vehicle for several hours for the aforementioned (warranty-gas door and recall issues) is simply gouging.
