Keith was extremely friendly and asked all the "right" questions (did I want them to look at anything specifically did I have any coupons). However, there were a few things I had specifically asked about before the service that he did not update me about when the service was completed. When I inquired about them he had to go to the tech to ask. I had a specific concern regarding my radio not working when I pressed my rear defogger that was not addressed. He asked me to call back on Monday and he had to have his specialist file a campaign with Toyota. I had spoken to another dealership so I knew exactly what the problem was (rear windsheild has the antenna and the defogger). This morning I went to another Toyota dealer they verified the problem and have ordered me a rear windshield. What a waste of my morning to have to pay an unnecessary visit to a dealership. Overall, I thought the friendliness was great. The lounge could have been better but did offer wifi. I would only return here for standard factory services (they did have the lowest price) but not for anything beyond that. More

Anyhow, they used every last possible trick and swindle in the book. Here are some examples: - quoted an outrageous price to begin with (twice the manufacturer's nationally advertised rate) - tried the old 'oh the only one we have in that color has a moonroof', when we didn't want a moonroof - made us wait 4.5 hours, start to finish (and that's without buying anything in the end) - tried to convince us to sign a contract with the 'fee' lines filled in as 'TBD' - after we settled for black, our second-favorite color, they spent the next 2 hours or so saying that they were cleaning, prepping, filling up gas, etc. Then, finally, we were called into an F&I office to do the paperwork, and they told us that they didn't actually have black either, and would we be ok with silver. We were already almost going crazy at this point, and they tried to convince us that we could get the black one but it would cost an extra $750 for them to get it for us. We said 'no, you've been lying to our faces, we're not paying for that'. Eventually they said 'oh, it looks like we sent our black one to our other location, we'll bring it over by tomorrow.' - when it looks like all was finally said and done, they said 'oh, we just checked your credit score (which they checked when we first got to the dealership and told us was fine) and it looks like your monthly payment will have to be about twice what we were saying The list goes on and on, those are the big ones that come to mind right now. Do yourself a favor and stay away. They're only aimed at people who have no idea what they're doing and can be easily swindled. Don't waste your time - we went to Parkway Toyota in Englewood Cliffs the next day and had a fantastic experience. More
Up untill this point I have not been compforable with car dealerships for service work on my vehicles. At this location, The person that Handled my problem was a professional by far. I came into this dealership expecting to be llike all the other dealers. I pulled my car in, quick service, spoke to Keith about my problems. He was real friendly and never gave me the run around. i had brought my vehicle to an outside repair shop to fix my vehcle. the problem was a check engne light. the other shop's mechanic told me that the car had a misfire condition and a complete tune up was nee my vehcle. the problem was a check engne light. the other shop's mechanic told me that the car had a misfire condition and a complete tune up was needed. I had agreed to have this tune up completed and the mechanic reset my check engine light. the very next day the check engine light came bck on, brought the car back to the mechanic and long story short, the mechanic basically told us he could nt figure it out. then i decided to do it the right way and bring it to the dealer. Agter being greated by the freindly staff at route 22 toyota, they assured me that they would help me get to the bottom of it. Turns out that mssfire code was caused by a short in the wiring system of my vehicle. they fixed it quickly and at an affordable rate. my service advsor Keith was helpfull throughout the process.
