i had brought my vehicle to an outside repair shop to fix my vehcle. the problem was a check engne light. the other shop's mechanic told me that the car had a misfire condition and a complete tune up was nee my vehcle. the problem was a check engne light. the other shop's mechanic told me that the car had a misfire condition and a complete tune up was needed. I had agreed to have this tune up completed and the mechanic reset my check engine light. the very next day the check engine light came bck on, brought the car back to the mechanic and long story short, the mechanic basically told us he could nt figure it out. then i decided to do it the right way and bring it to the dealer. Agter being greated by the freindly staff at route 22 toyota, they assured me that they would help me get to the bottom of it. Turns out that mssfire code was caused by a short in the wiring system of my vehicle. they fixed it quickly and at an affordable rate. my service advsor Keith was helpfull throughout the process.
