I have read so many good reviews about John, Alex, Rod and Berry. BUT wasn't lucky to deal with one of them. I only met Berry once he helped me to drop the Camry 2011 at Detail Cleaning Depr. Berry its and Berry. BUT wasn't lucky to deal with one of them. I only met Berry once he helped me to drop the Camry 2011 at Detail Cleaning Depr. Berry its an down to earth person I ever seen. He sure shows he's well experience around costumers. But I'm not satisfied with the Detail Cleaning. Still coffee sports on frontal:(( I trade my Sentra 2011 in perfect condition in and out. And i just don't understand why Camry were Delivered in such an condition. Outside its all shined and "wow" beautiful but inside can't stand it. It only have less then 25000 miles and inside its so badly use and wear out:( Any suggestion ?? Please let me have same satisfaction as most In here does. Memorial Day Service were great and all sales were soooo busy and handle it perfect but I'm not satisfied on mine :)) Thank you, Route 22 More
I purchased a used 08 Camry from this dealership. The salesman gave me a car that just came in, without inspecting it or anything the tire lite was on then the salesman said the finance dept would give u salesman gave me a car that just came in, without inspecting it or anything the tire lite was on then the salesman said the finance dept would give us a 72mo loan so our payments would be descent but when we got to finance they told us another story. Then they was suppose to detail the car but they did a rush job. I had to throw the mats out cause they were so dirty. The carpet in the car had terrible stains. Then we had to go back to get the center console replaced. The breaks r squeaking the day after I got it. They was suppose to adjust them but didn't. The rotors r worn down. I have to replace myself. They replace 2 front tires but the car still smells funny 3 weeks after I got it. We talk to the used car mng he was very rude. After all that it's been 21 days and I still haven't got my plates and the temp is expired. Every time I call ppl put me on hold I can't get any answers. We left msgs with mngs, salesman, finance no one can give is answers. I will not be goin back there for business nor recommending this dealership to anyone I know. Very unprofessional More
Dont give these guys your money.Their only goal is to separate you from your money no matters what they have to say or do.I drove for 7 hours after asking numerous times what condition this car was in.I separate you from your money no matters what they have to say or do.I drove for 7 hours after asking numerous times what condition this car was in.I get there and the rim is all bent,the car had a dent in the side,scratches,the check engine light was on,the exhaust smelled really bad.I was pulled over cause the salesman laid the plate down in the back window instead of displaying it correctly.The cops told me to get it checked out because it smelled really bad.They couldnt be bothered to tell me this stuff beforehand even when I told them how far away we were.They didnt even apologize.This dealership is full of inconsiderate young kids it seems. being a previous honda owner (rt 23) I've had numerous dealings with service depts. and in comparing them Route 22 far exceeded my expectations, from the moment you pull into the service area you are met dealings with service depts. and in comparing them Route 22 far exceeded my expectations, from the moment you pull into the service area you are met immediately, after that gentleman hands you your ticket you proceed to the service desk where I had the pleasure of dealing with Mike and Carlos who I came to learn was the service mgr and just happen to be behind the counter on another matter,They were both very friendly and personable (not really accustomed to that lol)after taking my info,they directed me to the waiting room was there about 25 minutes (honda never under an hour)Mike came in with my keys and told me my car was ready, I laughed and said you sure its my car. thanx again to Mike and Carlos to making my service appt. a pleasant experience More
I hv rated this dealer 1, since I could not go any further down......very bad or worst exp. I hv had ever in my life. But the minute I had rep, things falling apart. The rep was handling multiple customer simultaneously so he could not concentrate. He offered the price.....with no room for negotiations.... I offered my price, he said he could not do and that he will bring his mgr.....his manager Rod came in, he did not even had a curtesy to introduce his name to me and my wife. All he was saying was "talk to me". We offered the price again...he said he could not do, and literally left us , took the papers and said bye. What wonderful service it is...I am sure we don't deserve that hospitality. We are planning to complain to Toyota. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER, THEY ARE VERY BAD. More

I went to rt 22 toyota to purchase a 2012 highlander. The experience was excellent they understood all my needs. There were no hidden fees and all the paperwork were up front. They made sure i was a satisfie experience was excellent they understood all my needs. There were no hidden fees and all the paperwork were up front. They made sure i was a satisfied customer. I have had bad experience with other dealers before but the salesman jose mesa had knowledge about all the toyota products and offers. I felt no pressure had no stress everything went smooth and i was out of the dealer in less than 45 minutes with my new car. Thank you Rt 22 toyota i will highly recommend you. More

I visited Rt 22 Toyota to check out a 2012 Toyota Venza they had advertised on their site. I was told by the internet salesguy that they had it in stock and i could see it if i stopped by the showroom. On they had advertised on their site. On reaching the showroon, Alexis said the 2012 venza is at their warehouse (some place far away) and that it was difficult to bring it over..and offered a good deal on the 2011 Venza. They did not have the 2011 venza in stock and said they have located on one for me and could bring it in the same day or the next day. After a hassling process with price negotiating and getting ready to leave, his manager came running into the parking lot and agreed to my price. I put down a $500 downpayment and signed a purchase order. As soon as i signed, i asked them for the specs of the car they located and now Alexis says "the guys are in the process of locating and will call me as soon as they find one". I was pissd since he lied to me but decided to wait a day. This was during the Toyotathon time and the special deals were ending on Jan 3rd. I called Alexis the next day and he assured me that he has located the car and was going to pick it up and that i had nothing to worry about losing out on the specials during toyota thon. Alexis was a whole lot of lies and never answered any question in a straightforward manner (definitely not confidence inspiring to a customer who is spending 29k on a car). Finally realizing he was taking me for a ride, i shot off a couple of emails to their management and this is when Alexis manager, Frank Lizardi called. From this point on, Frank was a lot more honest and accurate in his statements. He told exactly what was going on and was straight with all his answers. In the end, they could not get me the car i wanted and i missed out on the Toyotathon. The mistake i made was that i put down a downpayment ($500) even without seeing the car. I trusted Alexis when he said he had already located the car. I will not go back and would not recommend anyone putting down a payment without seeing the car. Alexis Canabe seems like he started off his career at a user car dealership. The professionalism required by a Toyota salesman is clearly missing. I asked him to fax me a copy of the purchase order that i signed (since i forgot to get it when i was at the showroom) and he outright refused to send one...i mean WTF!!! it is a document that i signed!. Anyways...it was a bad experience for me. More
