Would give negative stars if I could. Please if you have any sense RUN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I promise all you will get is a headache and a lot of excuses and wasted time. Bought a car Please if you have any sense RUN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I promise all you will get is a headache and a lot of excuses and wasted time. Bought a car from them on Dec 1st and I still do not have my car! That's right I'm out $6900 no car and no money just a lot of xxxx poor excuses. So went in wanting a Corolla I saw online and was told that it had been sold. I thought it was odd that it would still be listed online but ok. The salesman (whom I won't mention his name because I believe he's trying it's the yahoos he works with/for that are to blame for this) then showed me some other cars online we came across a Mazda 3 it is older but low mileage and in really good condition for $13,000 so I test drove it (which these days I guess consists of merely circling the block). I fell in love with it. So it had just been traded in so it hadn't been detailed or any of that so I signed some paperwork and agreed I would come in the following day with down payment and take home the car. So I go thru all the hassle of taking off work dropping off a rental getting a Lyft back to the dealer and am told car isn't ready. A bit disappointed I hope in the loaner they give me and believe the car and my $900 they owe me from signing over my check from my insurance company would be ready the following day. Instead I am told that the service tech lost the 1 and only key and they have to order another and then have it programmed. A week later I'm told I can pick up the car BUT the key person didn't clear the code so it shows key not in range. I decline stating I want the car when it's ready and no codes I am not paying 13grand to have to keep taking it back and not to mention when the car decides the key really isn't there and won't start? By the way still no check either. So now we are 2 temp tags in and I still have no car and no money and now I drove all day with an expired temp tag. No communication from anyone but instead just an email with a new tag and paperwork to sign! Hahaha I am returning the loaner and going to get my down payment and going elsewhere this is the most absurd thing I've ever experienced. Do not waste your money, time or energy this is the most infuriating car buying experience ever. And I was probably the easiest quickest sale this guy ever had or will I was buying that car within 20 minutes of walking in the dealership for what to be jerked around and fed excuses like I'm a moron and expected to just be ok with it all. I think not. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE AND I WILL BE CERTAIN TO LET EVERY PERSON I MEET KNOW ABOUT THE AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE LYING, THE MISINFORMATION AND WORST PART I NEED THAT MONEY TO BUY MY KIDS PRESENTS. I don't know anyone that has $900+ laying around these days. I even asked the finance person before signing over the check had I known it would be 2+ weeks NEVER would I have done it. I would've cashed the check. The lack of responsibility anyone is taking and the way no seems to care specially this time of year makes me really question the motives of this dealership. All they care about is the bottom line not about their customers or the situation they have left me in. I really am saddened and disappointed by all this. More
Complete fabrication and misleading they are "hassle-free, with no mark-ups". They added a "market premium" (e.g., in-demand models - of course happened to be ours) - do not accept. NO OTHER Hyu "hassle-free, with no mark-ups". They added a "market premium" (e.g., in-demand models - of course happened to be ours) - do not accept. NO OTHER Hyundai dealership has such a "marketing premium" in San Antonio area. Be sure to look for in purchase walk-through and mention you have same model without "market premium" and they have no answer. I would go ANYWHERE else if you're able. More

I highly recommend them and their salesman Bill Wyman. Give him a call for personal service in buying a new car. He was professional and went above and beyond the sale with his assistance. Thank you Red McCombs and Bill. More
I am definitely done with both Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest & Superior dealerships. I had a very good 12 year experience with a 2007 Santa Fe purchased at Northwest so I purchased another Santa Fe in Northwest & Superior dealerships. I had a very good 12 year experience with a 2007 Santa Fe purchased at Northwest so I purchased another Santa Fe in 2021. There is not room to express the headaches with attempting to get service for three different issues. I then went to Superior where they at least looked at it on the first day, but it took more than 2 months to replace a headlight. Then they refused to honor the warranty when front safety/cruise control stopped working, insisting that I must have hit something that knocked the radar out of alignment. I told them I had not hit anything & that it stopped working after a lightning storm, but they said it would cost me $1,700 to repair. I took the vehicle to another dealership, and they recalibrated it for no charge since it is still under warranty. It is now working perfectly. Thank goodness I did not give & pay $1,700 when all it needed was to be recalibrated. I will drive a little farther now for honest, effective service as well as for my next Hyundai purchase. I am very disappointed with the negative changes with service at Red McCombs since this last buying experience. More
Roberto was absolutely wonderful. He helped us get into my mommy dream suv and I am in love with it. We never felt pressured and super comfortable. He helped us get into my mommy dream suv and I am in love with it. We never felt pressured and super comfortable. More
My husband bought my son a Hyundai Veloster 5 years ago at Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest. My son has been taking it there for service exclusively ever since. He recently moved from Texas and before he le at Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest. My son has been taking it there for service exclusively ever since. He recently moved from Texas and before he left, we took the car to a few places to get quotes to sell it before he left. We accepted the offer from RMHN and went in on a Saturday to bring the car and do the paperwork to sell it to them. I worked with Shane and Fabian and when I left I was told that the paperwork would be sent to the business office on Monday, it would take a few days to transfer the ownership and then the check should be on the way to me within 7-10 days. We left town assured that the check should come within a couple of weeks. After I left I noticed that the only paper they'd given to acknowledge the sale wasn't even signed by any of them and only had my information. I called and asked Shane to get me something signed and he emailed me the same sheet with someone's scrawl on their behalf. I emailed after a week and a half to confirm whether the paperwork had been turned over to their ownership and therefore I could cancel my auto insurance and was told that yes, I could cancel it. Today is 3 weeks since I left the car and when I called yesterday, I was told that the check still had not been issued and Shane and Fabian were busy with customers and would get in touch with me later. Haven't heard back. At this point I feel like the car was stolen and feel like the greatest fool. More
