I asked if all recalls had been taken care of, salesman said yes. It had not been taken care of. Salesman also said a broken latch on seat would be fixed. It was not. They delay you and try to wear you down so they can frustrate the customer into just signing whatever they push at you by the end of the transaction. Buyer beware! Pack a lunch! I booked a 90,000 mile maintenance online for my Hyundai Sonata hybrid which their website indicated would be around $480.00. When I brought my car in I told them that is what I wanted. I was later told by service that they needed to do a Cool Sys Flush, EFI Svc. and a Transmission flush and an oil change. I made the mistake of trusting them that I needed these. This came to $994.38. They did not do the service that I had originally booked service for as suggested by the manufacturers maintenance schedule. So I still need ALL of that. Nowhere in the maintenance log does it suggest the "flushes" that Red McCombs service did. I feel like this was a bait and switch! I will NOT be buying another vehicle from Red McCombs Hyundai again. The service has been below par and I want a company I can trust to be able to provide service honestly. I feel like when they see an elderly women, they took advantage of my lack of car knowledge. I was very disappointed with the communication and actual customer concern he had for me. i will not go back to that particular dealership. More
After telling the salesperson exactly what I was looking for a 2024 with AWD in order to make use of the special financing being offered, I was brought a 2025 with no AWD and assured that they would be able for a 2024 with AWD in order to make use of the special financing being offered, I was brought a 2025 with no AWD and assured that they would be able to match the financing I was looking for. The salesperson was not particularly attentive. We told him that a part of the car appeared broken, and he showed very little concern. He repeatedly left my wife and I alone with the vehicle for stretches of upwards of 15 minutes. I made it clear that because I had my children with me, I could not spend a long time at the dealership, but he continued to employ the tactic of making us wait. We ended up staying at the dealership for over 3 hours and didn't even buy a car. When we got to financing, the mileage in the paperwork was wrong and they wouldn't let me see the vehicle to confirm the mileage and VIN, which made us very uncomfortable. Once we were in financing, we were told that the special financing didn't apply to what we were looking at and they wouldn't be able to match the rate we had come in for. Again, after having been there for hours, they continued to play the game of going back and forth with their manager despite being told exactly what monthly payment we were comfortable with and refused to show us a price breakdown until we signed, so we ended up walking away. The only redeeming quality is that several of the other salespeople we interacted with were very friendly and attentive, even going so far as to setting up our toddler in a vehicle in the showroom to keep them entertained after we had been waiting for so long. Overall, the people we worked with used tactics that wasted our time and made us pretty uncomfortable, so be on your toes if you choose to use this dealership. More
