My sales consultant was outstanding, we came in with a purchase price that we wanted to spend on the new vehicle,along with a trade in, he made it happened. Due to 4th of July Holliday the dealership clerical personal was short handed so Gary Lach my Sales consultant took upon himself to complete all the necessary documents. My wife and I have had several Lexus vehicles over the past 15 years. While I do some of my own routine service, when it comes to something outside of that, such as brakes, tires, front end, etc I wouldn’t even consider taking it to anyone else other than Chris Gioffre at Freehold (or even Brian Chadwick at Ocean). Both these gentlemen are exemplary as professionals in their field as are others at this location. Rich Venerus, Mike Esposito and John Scranton, Service Advisor and Service Technicians respectively, for example are always ready to help in any was possible while extending the utmost in courtesy and respect for the customer. I should know. I get around to probably 30 or 40 other car dealerships of all makes throughout NJ in the course of my business. I get to meet not only the management and staff but also inspect the facilities. In short I can honestly say no one else can compare to Catena’s facilities, particularly these Lexus locations. A better combination of safe working conditions, housekeeping, congeniality, personality and professionalism of everyone there I challenge you to find especially in the industry because I have not. A few cases in point: My wife locked her keys in her car in Princeton. She called Chris in Freehold to get the number for a nearby Lexus dealer to help her. When Chris found out why she wanted the number he would not hear of anyone else having to come to her aid. In short order Chris sent out a Tech to her location in Princeton and got her car unlocked, no charges involved, then returned to Freehold. Kicker was, Lexus of Freehold wasn’t even built when she bought her car at another dealership but that didn’t matter! I was getting a groaning noise from the steering column of my RX which sounded like a bad bearing or maybe even a pump. Brought it to these guys and in literally a minute they found the source - a drying bushing where the steering column goes through the firewall. A little lubrication and problem solved. No charge, thank you very much. I had noticed several drops of transmission fluid coming from a 6 month old RX. Brought it in for them to look at closer and found a bad seal. Rather than replace the seal, they pulled out the trans and put in a brand new one! Talk about service. I could go on but that just shows what kind of people work at this facility - the best! As far as I’m concerned, the quality of service is much more important than a great purchase price. You acquire a vehicle once maybe every 5 or 10 years, but it will likely need at least some routing maintenance during that time. It should be done right the first time with no hassle and minimal inconvenience and this is exactly what you can expect from these gentlemen. Mr. Catena treats his people very well. You don’t have to look long or hard to see this. In return the staff there takes equally good care of the customer. It seems to be a symbiotic relationship that I’ve seen no where else in the industry. You will not do better that Ray Catena Lexus of Freehold. More
Top Notch Service Department I didn't buy my car from this dealership, but I have no doubt that had I purchased it from here my experience would have been just as great as it has I didn't buy my car from this dealership, but I have no doubt that had I purchased it from here my experience would have been just as great as it has been with their service department. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and all about making sure your needs as a customer are not only met but exceeded. My most recent experiences have been with Eric Cohen, and he is bar none the best service writer I have ever dealt with. The level of service that he provides should be the standard industry wide, not the exception. He is very professional, he effortlessly explains what the findings are and what needs to be done so that anyone would be able to understand, and most importantly he is an advocate for his customers to ensure that you are taken care of. Between Eric and Chris Gioffre, the Service Manager, you won’t get better service – they are exceptional. If you have been going somewhere for service where you feel like you are constantly being taken advantage of or treated unfairly – you need to take your business to this dealership and see what it feels like to be completely taken care of. Eric takes the angst out of having to take your car in for service and is seriously just stellar at what he does. I cannot sing their praises enough - I am a very satisfied customer! More
