Every part of the buying process was explained and I was even introduced to the service staff so I would know who was helping me to maintain my vehicle once I took it home. I just bought a new vehicle from Gerry Wood less than a week ago. I did a lot of homework and research before deciding that I wanted to buy a 2014 Ram 1500 with certain features. The internet showed that week ago. I did a lot of homework and research before deciding that I wanted to buy a 2014 Ram 1500 with certain features. The internet showed that this dealership had the exact vehicle that I wanted in stock, for a price better than other dealerships had, and a promised service commitment that was also better than other dealerships offered. I made the two hour trip to get there, was greeted by a friendly staff, and test drove the vehicle that I was interested in. Mr. Newkirk was able to answer all of my questions and concerns and then we began to talk about price. They did honor the internet price but flexed very little beyond that. I was told that the internet price was a "gutted" price that really did not leave any more room for negotiation. I had a vehicle to trade in as part of a proposed deal. What they offered on my trade in was very low and I expressed that several times but they remained firm on that figure as well. During all of the sales negotiations I was treated professionally and respectfully and I returned the same. So the final decision was mine. I could have left without a deal and did consider doing that. The bottom line for me was that even with a low offer for my trade in, the final out the door price was still a lot better than what I believe the competition could have offered. So I bought the truck and I absolutely love it. And if they make good on their service commitment as they promise then I will know even more that I made the right decision to buy at Gerry Wood. At this time I would highly recommend to anybody, if you are interested in a new vehicle as I was then do your homework. Decide exactly what you want. If you have a vehicle that you want to trade in, you can discuss that with them or sell it on your own first. That way trade in value disagreements will not come into play. Afterwards, go to Gerry Wood and you will be treated respectfully and can get that new vehicle at a great price with a service commitment that is second to none. More
