After finding a used Ridgeline through their website, my wife and I stopped by Randy Kuehl Honda for a test drive. Upon explaining our situation and our desire to just get something good enough to haul stuff around our small farm, the salesman, Chanin Dirks, did a great job of walking us through the process. He resonated with our needs, answered all our questions, and, most importantly, didn't try to push us towards something more expensive than we were looking for. Chanin did a great job of asking meaningful questions and genuinely listening to us. I will absolutely make Randy Kuehl my first stop when looking for a new vehicle in a few years. Oh, and the truck is nice, too. More

Tim was well informed about the vehicle.He took time to explain and help with the new technology, Tim went above and beyond to get me into my new Civic after a roll over that totaled my car. Great car buying experience I had a great experience purchasing a pre-owned car from my salesman Tim Carson at Randy Kuehl Honda today. It was my first time at this dealership an I had a great experience purchasing a pre-owned car from my salesman Tim Carson at Randy Kuehl Honda today. It was my first time at this dealership and I was treated extremely well by every person I interacted with. Tim was very knowledgeable about the car and was able to show me all the features that I was curious about as well as help me get familiar with them after the purchase. The buying experience was great. Tim was interested in getting me in the car that worked well for me and less interested in just making a sale. He was very personable and professional - an overall great guy be around and have a conversation with; not pushy at all and I felt like I could trust him. He worked hard to get me a price that I was comfortable with. I would definitely recommend him and this dealership to anyone looking for a Honda and would buy here again myself. Just can't say enough positive things. More
Ridiculous non-refundable deposit policy I had just agreed on a price with the dealership and was figuring out financing. I was offered an interest rate and explained that I would check with I had just agreed on a price with the dealership and was figuring out financing. I was offered an interest rate and explained that I would check with my bank in the morning, as I knew they would give me a better rate. I was asked to provide a $1,000 deposit and I provided my credit card for that (ended up being $500). When the Finance Manager came back he asked me to sign a non-refundable deposit form that said if I did not complete this transaction except for the inability to get financing that I would lose my deposit. I refused to sign it and took the risk that the car would be sold overnight. When I went home to show the family the car I bought I noticed that the Carfax indicated there was damage from an accident that had been reported. While on the test drive I had asked the salesman if the car had been in an accident and he said "not to my knowledge". I am not buying the car and I will not lose a deposit. The dealership should not make this a non-refundable deposit in all cases except inability to obtain financing. What about lack of knowledge about the product you are selling or being able to provide the best deal they can (i.e. finding a better deal elsewhere)? Stand by your product and your mission to be a great dealership, Randy Kuehl Honda!! More

Not pushy at all, very informative, and really paid attention to what we were looking for instead of just giving us the standard pitch. Genuine guy, a great experience with him. Had a slightly less pleasant experience with financing. We came in the door with financing but they seemed eager to beat the rate we had, so we let them run our info after being reassured it was a "soft" hit meaning it wouldn't affect our credit scores. We were then told we would get a call back about the rates they had to offer, but never did hear back. Later, we found out that one of the banks' checks was a hard hit on our credit. Also, when we were picking up the keys there was an awkward pitch to sell extras when we were clearly not interested. We understand that money is made from those extras, but the execution was uncomfortable. More
