David McCuskey gave us an honest assessment of what we needed and what we didn't. He discovered that there was an air bag recall on the car and he had the problem resolved. They also did some detailing on the interior which turned out fantastically. The work was done on time and on budget. It was a real pleasure to deal with Mr. McCuskey, he was professional, trustworthy and informed. We are very satisfied with the work that was done and at a fair price. More
Great experience! I was looking for a smaller Suv, I wasn't sure which one was right for our family. I started looking at the CRV's in July of this year. Chanin showe I was looking for a smaller Suv, I wasn't sure which one was right for our family. I started looking at the CRV's in July of this year. Chanin showed me the different packages they had and also showed me the other Suv's I was considering to compare to the SUV. I lect and went to other dealerships to check out the other Suv's. Chanin didn't pressure me like most car salesmen we've had in the past. I went back about a month later and they gave my husband and I a great deal on our trade besides a great sale price for my new CRV! I love my new car and I can say Randy Kuehl Honda is by far the best dealership around. They're honest and will give you the best deal! Mike Mills in finance also made our experience a great experience! You will not be disappointed if you go to Randy Kuehl! More

POOR SERVICE IN SERVICES Our vehicle was towed to them little over a month almost 2 months now because there wasn't a signal going from alternator to the "motherboard" (as th Our vehicle was towed to them little over a month almost 2 months now because there wasn't a signal going from alternator to the "motherboard" (as they called it). so Honda ran a diagnostic and said the RPN of the motherboard was shot so the part was going to be &00$ plus labor so a total of $1700. of course we give them the go ahead so our car can be fixed and running again. after that was put in, they called us to inform us that they discovered that the wiring harness that was going from that part to the alternator was shot is why they weren't getting a reading. so they told us that part with labor was going to be another total of $1300. once that part was now put in, they called us and told us "the car is running now and seems to be fine and is ready to go. they never even drove the car after the fact to make sure. so my husband goes to pick up the car, he drives off the lot and so far so good but once he goes to push on the gas to get going on the highway he noticed it was doing a "putt putt" like it was going to stop or shut off and even noticed the engine light on. he took the car back to David (supervisor in services) and told them what was happening so david told my husband, "well we fixed what the problem was but we wil look at it again for you". so my husband leaves the car and david gives us a call a week later and goes "the oil pressure cap is shot so its going to be another $280 and he assured us that this was going to fix the problem and we would be good. so we of course give them the go ahead. a little over a week goes by again so just 2 days ago (wednesday 8/31/16) david calls my husband and tells him the part is in and everything is better and the car is ready to go, so we go there and ask david if we could test drive the car before we pay this last $280 so he agrees and goes with us. so we drive the vehicle around the block and as my husband was about to go test it on the highway, david tells my husband, "you dont have to go on the highway, just go straight and head back to the dealership". so we go back and the car seemed fine going just that little distance so we trusted them and paid and left. since the vehicle is mine, i drive it to go do the errands i needed to do and my husband takes off in our other car.i go to turn onto getting on the highway and as im pushing on the gas to get the vehicle to go, it does the "putt putt" like it was doing before. so i get scared and pull off and call my husband to tell him the problem. so he meets me and takes the car with me to drive it around and it does the putt putting and he goes, "this is exactly what it was doing the FIRST time i came to pick the car up, now i see why they didnt want us to get on the highway so we wouldnt notice it doing thing". so my husband was furious and we go back to Honda and tell them that the same problem was occuring from like before when we came to get it the first time. david tells my husband that they would do a diagnostic and we would be stuck paying the $110 diagnostice charge and if they find something new occur then we would have to pay for that also, but if it had something to do with what they "supposedly" fixed this last time then they would fix it for free. two days later, so today 9/2/2016, david calls my husband and tells him its some other part now and going to be another 200$. keep in mind me and my husband have already now put $3280 in repairs and they tell us everything is fine and everytime it goes back they magically find something new go wrong with it. I have NEVER seen service like this in my whole life. now with our car being a honda, and having in our minds them being a big company that they would be great but honestly i have been disappointed ever since we took it to them. More

After stopping by two other dealerships and a brief stop by Billion in Iowa City, I found Matt's approach to sales very refreshing. The best part was that once I was committed to the purchase Matt spent a lot of time making sure that I was comfortable with all the new features. The business office was respectful of my time and also of my pocketbook. My late husband was very much against EXTENDED WARRANTIES and I expressed that to Mike right away and rather the put even more pressure on me, he slowed down and showed me the benefits. Again never pressuring me. All and all a great experience AND my first Honda! Way to go Randy Kuehl Honda, you have a customer for life. More

BIG MISTAKE. I was shown vehicles that never came close to having the equipment I desired in my first purchase. And they kept pushing a credit app in front of me, I suppose to see if I could afford a car. Very insulting, to say the least. So I went to see what Randy Kuehl Honda had that fit my budjet. I met with Phil and was treated with a ton of respect from moment one. I was given a very fair for my trade that I have had since college. The biggest surprise came when I drove off the car lot in my new car within 2 hours of arrive............... IN MY NEW CIVIC!! Thanks Phil, Mike and Nate, you guys are the best! More

I expressed I recently purchased a used vehicle from Randy Kuehl Honda in Cedar Rapids and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences I've had. I expressed interest online on a Sunday night and got a call back from the salesperson before the dealership even opened on Monday morning. They had the vehicle out and ready for me to come take a look that morning and take it for a spin. We made the deal and I was out the door within an hour. Salesperson was very friendly, with no pressure, and followed up with me the next day to ensure everything was going OK. Thanks, guys! More
