Disappointing experience I brought my 2004 S60 in because of an electrical/computer problem. The auto mechanic I usually trust and use could not diagnose/treat the problem be I brought my 2004 S60 in because of an electrical/computer problem. The auto mechanic I usually trust and use could not diagnose/treat the problem because he did not have the software specific to Volvo cars. After spending $130.00 to have the problem diagnosed, I was told the car needed approximately $3000.00 in repairs. After considerable thought of deciding to put so much money in a ten -year -old car, we decided to repair the most expensive item, the driver information module (DIM), after the car broke down again. After spending $1700.00 to have the DIM replaced, less than a week later, the car broke down again with the same problem. The car went back to Ramsey Volvo and was told there was another problem which caused the DIM to malfunction again and another $1100.00 would be required to fix the problem. If I knew initially, when I paid $130.00 to have the problem diagnosed, that the repairs would be so extensive I would have declined them. Now I spent $1700.00 and the problem is not fixed and I do not trust their advice that another $1100.00 would make the electrical/computer problem fixed. And there are still another $1000.00 plus dollars in repairs that are not related to the DIM. I feel that I was taken advantage of and the reason why the DIM was malfunctioning should have been addressed initially. I would not go back there or recommend their service department. More

Although I had made arrangements for a test drive beforehand, I think everyone at the dealership was surprised that I actually showed up. John greeted me with a handshake and checked to make sure that there was a car ready for the test drive. During the drive, John talked about the mechanics of the car and reviewed some of the highlights. We talked about what I had researched on line and some of the other cars I was considering (Cadillac ATS, Lincoln MKZ, Buick Regal, Chevrolet Volt). When we returned from the drive, he quickly worked up a lease price (which was outstanding), but since I had yet to drive some of the other cars, I left with his card and promised to contact him when I was ready to move forward. About a month later, I walked back into the dealership (unannounced). John recognized me at greeted me by name. We quickly worked through the details of the lease, and I signed the purchase agreement. Throughout the process, I was treated as a respected customer. I would highly recommend Ramsey Volvo (By the way, the S60 AWD is an awesome car; far superior to the BMW 328 xDrive that it replaced). More

I found Ramsey Volvo on the Internet when looking for a Volvo C70. They had the exact car I wanted. I made the sale for Stan relatively easy because I went there pretty much knowing what I wanted. Stan was great to work with taking care of getting me a fair trade-in value on my current car as well as financing on the new Volvo. It took only a few hours from walking through the door to driving away that same day with my new Volvo. He took the time to explain all the features and even set up the contacts from my phone into the car. Ramsey Volvo isn't the closest dealership to where I live, but they certainly earned my patronage and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stan Rosen and Ramsey Volvo to anyone looking for a Volvo. More

I found them on the internet, and after talking to Stan Rosen, my salesman, I felt driving 60 miles would not be a waste of time. Upon arrival I spotted my car, and when I checked it over, it was just as Stan described. He was very courteous and answered all of my questions. They gave me a great price and were very helpful through the entire process. The finance department went to bat for me, checking 3 different banks to find me the best deal. Best car buying experience I ever had. Found the car on the internet. After a couple of phone calls with Stan Rosen I made put a deposit on the car. came by a few days later test drove, sign paperwork an the internet. Spent at most 1 hour at the dealership. Very friendly people with great customer service. I dealt with Stan Rosen the sales consultant and Timothy O'Loughlin the business manager - great people.
