What you are neglecting to mention to the public are the financial circumstances of your situation. You currently owe $30282.00 on a 2010 Base Model Altima 2.5S that carries an MSRP of $22,755.00. As a used car with the mileage you have driven, the vehicle is worth less then $19,000 in the current market. You are looking to purchase a $39590. Maxima 3.5SV Premium Tech and you have just about 6% available to use as a down payment, which does not even cover the sales tax on a vehicle of that caliber. The issue you have is not with Ramsey Nissan. Our price on the Maxima for you, sir, was rock bottom. Heck, we offered you the car under cost to help your situtation. The public should also know you are budgeted to have a payment of $380/mo on a $40,000 vehicle, plus state taxes, plus bank interest and plus the $11,000 of negative equity you have on your current Altima. The public can now figure out that your situation is not plausible by any means. What you should be explaining to the public is that the last Nissan dealer you went to left you in a devastating financial situation on your current vehicle. Like you said, you DID NOT buy the car you are buried in from us here at Ramsey Nissan. That being said, we welcome you, Gerard, to meet with us again. The public should also know you gave us 25 minutes to appraise your vehicle, test drive the Maxima you desire, run your credit, get the current pay-off and try to rationally explain to you the position you are in. 25 minutes is just enough time to eat a descent lunch, not make a major purchase and secure a loan for $50,000. You are still welcome to visit us at any time. We do sell and service more cars then the dealership that did this to you. We are also 2009 winners of the Nissan Owner's First Award which less then 2% of Nissan dealers qualify for. Perhaps now you understand why. //RN

Thank you, Mr. Stephen Garay, for the telling the world of your experience here at Ramsey Nissan. If we may add some details to your story to keep the playing field level. Mr. Garay described his Pontiac Grand Prix GTP as “above average condition with no issues” on the telephone that morning. When he arrived at our store there were concerns he neglected to mention. Other than the dents and deep white scratches scattered all over his Dark Burgundy car making it less than appealing to the eye, his poorly installed aftermarket exhaust was held together by, get this, TAPE! Yes. TAPE. To describe it, imagine heat resistant Duct Tape. That may be acceptable for King of Prussia, but not acceptable to the inspection stations of the tri-state area. It is also an extreme fire and safety hazard. Along with tape holding his exhaust system together, he had aftermarket mufflers that could be best described as Ebay specials from China -—Held together with Tape. The exhaust system was leaking in several spots. Now we move to the engine. Mr. Garay claims his friend is a professional technician. Not only does he use tape to put exhaust systems together, but his professional tech poorly installed an aftermarket air induction system. Mr. Garay can kick and scream, but it will not be anywhere near as loud as the whining from his Supercharger. The Grand Prix GTP is a supercharged engine. Personally, I am a fan of the Grand Prix GTP’s since the late 80’s. I have had the pleasure of driving dozens of them through the years. Ironically, none of them sound like the bearing in his. This is where experience counts. We have since discovered that our initial diagnosis was correct: SUPERCHARGER PROBLEM! For those of you reading this not familiar with superchargers, they are very, very expensive. Four figure repair. Mr. Garay was not shopping Muranos with any bells and whistles. His internet list was all Murano S Entry Level equipment vehicles. He might claim to pass on the Brooklyn ones to come here, but he forgot to mention the old New York trick of advertising the FINANCE AMOUNT after the $2995 down payment. So we did have to show him, on his own print outs, that he had to add $2995 to each price. We admitted outright that the automation process of listing hundreds of cars on the internet on a daily basis does have flaws. We even pointed out the 40 photographs of the car he was interested in with THREE (3) CLOSE UP PHOTOS OF THE RADIO IN QUESTION. We apologized in words and, more so, in actions. We corrected the mis-information on the spot to the vehicle he initially wanted to purchase. To prove our point, Mr. Garay says that some sub-sites online still show the wrong information over one week later. So the end result? We gave Mr. Garay $1500.00 too much for his Grand Prix, put him in a Murano SL All Wheel Drive with LESS MILES, Back-Up Camera and even a Power SunRoof for the same price he wanted to pay for an entry level Murano S with no bells and whistles. Stephen Garay—You, sir, are an enigma. You ended up getting a Murano SL AWD with Back Up Camera, Sunroof, Power Seats and lower mileage that you told us you never thought you could afford FOR THE SAME PRICE you were willing to pay for a lesser car. Yes, we lost a few dollars to do what the rest of the world would consider the right thing. We ended up with a dented, scratched Pontiac with a bad supercharger bearing and a taped, leaking exhaust system. We did the right thing by you and still, still you leave a review like this? Karma, my friend. Karma. //RN
