This dealership recommended work that was not necessary. More specifically my GL450 had a problem with the rear suspension. We were told to replace the entire rear suspension system. In fact, we could have made that diagnosis on our own as novices. It would have been better to see what part of the rear suspension system was faulty. Of course that would be less expensive to fix. Thank goodness we took our vehicle to a local mechanic and he replaced the air bags in the suspension system. He showed us where they were leaking and our vehicle was fixed at less than a quarter of the price. We expected more professional from this dealership and are disappointed. More
They didn’t inform me that my down payment needed to be a certified check until the day before I planned to pick up my car. I spent the weekend before Christmas in line at a Walmart full of screaming children trying to obtain several $1000 cashiers checks/on the phone with my bank to get my debit card limit increased. The finance guy at the dealership finally gave me permission to initiate a transfer and pick the car up without the transfer processing. When I went to pick up the car they had me sign almost all of the paperwork before ever seeing the vehicle. The all weather mats I was promised were not in the vehicle. I still haven’t received them despite the salesman promising to FedEx them to me. He also promised the tech folks would be in touch with me to schedule a FaceTime to walk me through the features on my car. This has never happened, and I haven’t heard from them since. Also the car was not cleaned well. I found a used bandaid stuck to my seatbelt buckle and all of the previous owners information in my glovebox. I had to replace one of my tire pressure monitors the week I picked up the car as it was leaking and the tire pressure alarm kept going off. More
