Although I recommended this dealership enthusiastically for Sales I'm afraid, based on my recent experience, I wouldn't recommend that anyone actually buy a car from them because of my recent service exper for Sales I'm afraid, based on my recent experience, I wouldn't recommend that anyone actually buy a car from them because of my recent service experience. I was actually quite surprised at what I found when Rallye's service department displayed an appalling lack of competence. Believing that Rallye would have no problem in diagnosing and correcting a severe engine miss in my 6 month old 550i I brought the car in one morning and explained the issue. At the end of the day the "Service Rep" called and told me that indeed the tech was able to reproduce the problem and wanted to keep the car overnight so they could run tests the next day. Lo and behold, I get a call the next afternoon saying that they could find nothing wrong and that my car was "operating as designed". In other words, ALL BMW 550i automobiles display severe engine misfirings. I'm sure BMWNA would be "thrilled" to hear this. Imagine yourself in my position. Don't let this happen to you. I have now received several recommendations for competent local BMW repair facilities and will bring the car to people I can trust. This experience certainly surprised me as I thought Rallye knew what they were doing, and I'm sorry my sales rep will lose out because of the inability of the service department to do its job. More
There is no way that I would ever recommend Rallye to anyone after the fiasco I had when bringing my car in for service. All I've been hearing about on the radio is their $100,000 giveaway on z100. Perha anyone after the fiasco I had when bringing my car in for service. All I've been hearing about on the radio is their $100,000 giveaway on z100. Perhaps they should invest that money more wisely, and improve their customer service and rapport. Check out Better Business Bureau's rating of Rallye. More
COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spent $100k on a new 7 Series, which required service to repair the power shades. The Service department (esp. Peter) made me feel like I was inconveniencing Ra on a new 7 Series, which required service to repair the power shades. The Service department (esp. Peter) made me feel like I was inconveniencing Rallye to arrange an appointment to have the shades repaired. The tone of voice was consistently dismissive, overly edgy and rude, notwithstanding the fact I was very polite and it was in the context of Rallye having already knowingly significantly inconvenienced me by canceling my long-scheduled appointment only ~60 minutes in advance. In addition, I was placed on an indefinite hold, which rolled into someone's voice mail box. When I rang back, no one picked up the phone for >10 rings. When I called back a short while later, they acted as if I was heavily burdening them to even talk with me, and they essentially said I'd just have to talk to someone else in a few days. More
After being a Rallye customer for a couple of years, I finally left. Not only were they dishonest with their sales, but their service department is horrific. I have 2 BMW's (E60 M5 and E70 X5 4.8). Bot finally left. Not only were they dishonest with their sales, but their service department is horrific. I have 2 BMW's (E60 M5 and E70 X5 4.8). Both cars are now from Habberstad. On my previous models, I always did custom orders. They ended up ordering additional options for my vehicles and leaving me with no choice but to pay the increased amount on my monthly lease, if I wanted the car. On top of that, my car went in for a software update one time and was returned with a plethora of problems that they could never fix. It was terrible. They clearly care more about quantity over quality, which is no surprise considering how big they are. It's a shame, because they could do a lot more business if their attitudes would change. More
Left a deposit for a CPO vehicle, Manager told salesperson not to sell it to us for that price because the repairs they rpomised would cost more $$. Even though we had already agreed to a price w salesperson not to sell it to us for that price because the repairs they rpomised would cost more $$. Even though we had already agreed to a price with the repairs and signed paperwork. Typical bait and switch, check out Better Business Bureau. More
I recently purchased a 335 sedan from this dealership. I found the entire experience to be excellent and in excess of my expectations. Being familiar with the BMW product line, I knew exactly what I wanted found the entire experience to be excellent and in excess of my expectations. Being familiar with the BMW product line, I knew exactly what I wanted when I went to the dealership. My client advisor was Mr. Corssen who I found to be knowledgeable, professional and kind. After locating the specific car that I wanted, he offered me a reasonable deal and I purchased the vehicle. Mr. Corssen was up-front and disclosed to me all of the details of the transaction. It was a no-stress transaction where I did not have to do much negotiating at all. The delivery experience was something I had never expected where I received a comprehensive lesson on the "I-Drive" system and all of the features of the vehicle. Having had my previous BMW serviced at this dealer for the past three years, I can say that the service department is excellent as well. In sum, the personnel at this dealership seem to be willing to go to any length to make sure that the customer is pleased. I will be recommending Rallye BMW to friends and family. More
I came in after seeing a car in their inventory on the internet. I met with the salesman who seemed somewhat disinterested and passive. Certainly not very helpful. The car that brought me there was no internet. I met with the salesman who seemed somewhat disinterested and passive. Certainly not very helpful. The car that brought me there was no longer available, but a new car that caught my attention just arrived. I asked for a test drive and was told that it would take a couple of days to register the car in their inventory and then I could return for a test drive. I was told I would be called when that happened. Weeks passed and no one called. Very strange experience- I felt like they did not care for my business, so I will take it elsewhere. More
If you don't get the right salesman then Rallye BMW can be difficult. They are large, deal with many people and have their share of obnoxious, condescending CAs. I was lucky enough to find my CA, Rich DeAn be difficult. They are large, deal with many people and have their share of obnoxious, condescending CAs. I was lucky enough to find my CA, Rich DeAngelo, and he made all the difference. One of the most important things is that he's straightforward. Whether he gives you the best price or not he will never (in my experience) play tricks on you or go back on a deal or high-pressure you. He is efficient (my entire deal was done through e-mail), knowledgeable and scrupulously honest. He's also very smart...he's the ONLY salesperson out of all the ones I've dealt with in my 59 years who shook my wife's hand FIRST and actually paid attention to the questions SHE asked. That gave him an "in" with me and I was glad that he also gave me a reasonable price. I've bought two BMWs from Rich now and will try him again for my next one. I've also found the size of Rallye is an advantage: I ALWAYS get a BMW loaner and get an appointment on short notice. More
We were shopping for a 5 series and saw several cars online listed as being part of the dealership inventory with good prices. I went to the Dealership with my Fiance to purchase the car. The front de online listed as being part of the dealership inventory with good prices. I went to the Dealership with my Fiance to purchase the car. The front desk receptionist was friendly and told me someone would be down soon. Well, 10 minutes later we were still waiting around walking the showroom floor and not Salesman came to assist us. Initially we thought they were rude because we are African American, but there were 3 other Caucasians standing around and complaining right along with us because no one helped them either. Finally we were fed up and went back to the receptionist to complain, then salesman that was assigned to us came and my fiance and took him upstairs. To our surprise there were three salesman just sitting at their desk, and they were not helping any customers. The salesman went through the list of cars and just said "no, we dont have any of the cars you saw on the internet!" Thats it! He didnt try to sell us another series, another year, another model! Nothing! He never even asked us for our price range! So we left, right along with the other people just standing around. No one even seemed to care! The same day we went to Hassel BMW in Freeport where the staff was much friendlier, knowledgable and worked with us all day unitl we reached a price that we liked. Ultimately Cliff sold us a 2008 3 series. We are very happy!!! More
I have recently dealt with Robert Wachsman to purchase a BMW 5 series car. I asked him for a discount of 1000 on the price. His face suddenly got red and he explained that all discounts over 500 would need BMW 5 series car. I asked him for a discount of 1000 on the price. His face suddenly got red and he explained that all discounts over 500 would need to go through the manager. So I asked him ask his manager, but he refuses explaining that his wife told him not to bother. His treated people who asked for bargains as people who were poor and did not deserve his time. More
