My experience at PUENTE HILL TOYOTA SERVICE on September 22 I bought TOYOTA for my two children two years ago. One is Camery 2018 and the other one is RAV4 2019, on September 22nd I brought the RAV4 to P 22 I bought TOYOTA for my two children two years ago. One is Camery 2018 and the other one is RAV4 2019, on September 22nd I brought the RAV4 to Puente Hill Toyota for maintain service. The experience was unfortunately sad. I share my experience with you here. . 1)At the reception area, a girl named Yongjun Jia received me. I explained to her the problem of the car. One: Car Player does not work, second is jerking when starting the car, and third: the tire indicator light is on. She used the iPad taking pictures around and sent the car to the workshop for repairs. 2)After two hours, she called me and said the problems are fixed. Saying the tires were okay, and no car jerking problems were found. The car player is normal by their iphones. After signing the paper, I got into the car, plugged in my Iphone to test the car player and found that it was not repaired. , And then found a long crack in the windshield 3)Then this Ms. Jia, tested her phone, but it still didn't work, then she called a repairman, worked it for a while, and said it worked. 4) Because of the cracks on the windshield, a customer manager was called over her name is SARAH CRUZ. She said that the cracks was caused by a rock chip and had nothing to do with their repairs. 5) I refused to accept her statement and insisted that the windshield was good when the car brought to her, and the windshield was broken when it came out from the repair shop, she asked me to call my insurance company. It makes me feel ridiculous and shameful, put Ms.Jia‘’s lie, and the customer manager Sarah's irresponsible attitude together, I feel that this company might be an origination of dishonesty , I thought of calling the police 911. Later, the Shop Foreman called Mel Hees came out and told me that the cracks might be that there was a previvor rock attack, because the hot weather the small den might have cracked windshield in the workshop due to the hot temperature . He said that he had already reported to the service department director who was not in the company at the time and asked me to come again the next day, on September 23, to have a communication with the director. 6) At 9 a.m. on September 23, I came to Puente Hill service department and met director Kevin Cho. He came out to look at the car and said that it might be caused by a rock churning, or maybe it was cracked because of the hot temperature in the workshop that day, he Proposed to replace the windshield for me at my cost $299 and he waived the labor cost. Because of this unpredicted happening, I didn't go to work for two days. So, I agreed on his proposal. It means that next Tuesday on 28th the windshield will arrive to the shop and I will bring the car back to replace the glass. This is my experience at Puente Hill Toyota service department. Because this time the repair was bumpy and time-consuming, I had the opportunity to communicate with the staffs and observe the working place. 1) The staffs were scattered, eating at the work station, playing with mobile phones, chatting. 2) lying, neglecting, ignorant and arrogant 3) I don’t know if It is a group of cheating or dishonesty (to be observed and verified) I am a loyal customer to Toyota brand. I have purchased dozens of TOYOTA cars for both personal and business in different countries over 30 years. The first car of both my children are TOYOTA. In fact, I am disappointed and helpless with Puente Hill's service department. Because of Covid is still in pandemic, I chose to forgive this time, hoping that they would improve and win their trust back with honesty. More

This review does not reflect the sales department but only the Car Service department. Long Story Short. Friday Morning 7/23/21 on my way to my internship I noticed my tire pressure light on. It was abou only the Car Service department. Long Story Short. Friday Morning 7/23/21 on my way to my internship I noticed my tire pressure light on. It was about 8 AM so no Tire Service shops were open around that time in my area. So I thought what better place than the "Professional", "Honest", and people w "Integrity". So I pull in and they checkk me in at 8:28 and I am told it will be about an hour and 40 minutes wait which I agree to. After I waited at about 10 am the "assistant manager" Alec C. Labrada who checked me in takes me to the back after telling me my tire had a nail and now my passenger rear tire is leaking air. They state that the law is if the leak is not in the middle then it's illegal to patch. Which is true, but they were using that to try to manipulate me into buying a brand new tire. They wouldn't show me the nail, and they wouldn't mark where the leak was coming, all they kept doing was dunking the tire in the water causing bubbles to flow up then claiming I had a leak because my light came on, and there were bubbles in the water from where he kept moving the tire instead of just holding it down, so those are red flags they are trying to scam me into selling me a tire I don't need because there was no leak and my tire was low on pressure. After not falling for buying a tire and Alec C Labrada couldn't make a dollar off me he behaving in a rude and disrespectful manner. I complained to the register person and was embarrassed by the "assistant manager " Alec C. Labrada the "Director" Kevin Cho heard my complaint at the register and took me into his office, after I was done at the register and had the most fakest customer service acts ive ever seen. You could tell he didn't want me finding out that my car didn't have a leak so Kevin kept saying you have a leak, the "Director" was not there to witness the leak, as there is no mark as well. Which prompted me to go to a La Puente Tires on Valley since it's already past ~10:30 AM so I go and since they didn't mark my tired the great gentleman from La Puente Tires put dunked and held my passenger rear that Kevin, Alec, and the Mechanic which were all in cahoots with each other trying to take advantage of probably another customer they have done this too. There mistake was assuming I was young and naïve because of my appearance. After confirming there was no leak in my tire and the La Puente Tires gentleman filled my tire up PROPERLY my light went away. Furious I returned to ask them why they would lie to me about my tire having a leak and asked Kevin Cho. Kevin kept repeating the same things over and over again. If the light for air pressure is on, then you have a leak. But I told him the light can come on for different reasons like low pressure which he acknowledged, been even without being present to confirm the leak himself, he insisted that because the light came on I NECESSARILY HAVE A LEAK. This made me mad because after finding out I didn't have a leak from the third party which already took my entire morning to do, It inconvenienced my whole day because the "Director" The Assistant Manager" "The Mechanic" were all in cahoots about selling new tires to people that don't need them, then he kept repeating "WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU" after i said apologize for wasting my time, he said NO. I knew I couldn't do anything I told the lobby recipients they tried selling me a tire i didn't need after they lied about my tire having a leak and another goon in a white shirt came up in my personal space right in my face and began pushing me out. After I was forced out, Kevin said "wait right there" and then said I someone call the police. Then the enforcer in the white shirt who is just a mechanic muttered the words from his ugly mouth, "why don't you get your dad to pay for it" for no reason except to add insult to injury and assumed I am poor and that I have no money. I then reported this incident to Toyota Corporate because they should not be treating anyone this way especially people who have been sold tireds they didn't need after being told they have a irreparable tire leak that wasn't really there. I still have my passenger rear tire and it's just fine. I am no longer upset after reporting the incident to toyota. Buyers beware of them lying to make quota and holiday benefits. I'm hoping not everyone is like that, but for sure my interaction with the four people. Kevin Cho, Alec C Labrada, the unnamed mechanic liar, and the enforcer with the white shirt who pushed me out and insulted me. For the reviews that allow attachments I have attached the invoice w my notes of that day, my tire w a time stamp of today's date, and a picture of the dashboard lights that state any issues like check engine light and other reasons like tire pressure sensor. Worst experience ever. They tell you what you want to here. Manager Scott Peterson sits in front of you and will lie to your face and answer yes to everything you ask just to get you to sign. I signed a here. Manager Scott Peterson sits in front of you and will lie to your face and answer yes to everything you ask just to get you to sign. I signed a contract which I was told was a back up plan if my credit union denied my loan request, which they did not. I was approved by my credit union and took the check into Toyota the next day. A week later I was contacted and told I owe an additional $3000. My credit union told me the truck was up charged about 10000 and they could not do an additional 3000. When I called The finance department Sim Lou and told him what I had discovered he told me that right now every dealership is up charging about $8000 do to supply and demand. I was scammed and have learned my lesson to never buy from Puente Hill Toyota and read the fine print. Be warned future buyers don’t fall victim like I did More
My husband and I just bought a truck from here & this place is the absolute worse. Do NOT go to this specific Toyota dealership. Their finance & management department have NO idea what they are doing. Sp place is the absolute worse. Do NOT go to this specific Toyota dealership. Their finance & management department have NO idea what they are doing. Specifically Sim Lou and their “supervisor” Scott Peterson. He is the best biggest scam artist. We went through our own credit union for financing which was fantastic. Toyota will try and convince you to go through them and sign a contract with their high APR rates. Our credit union told us straight out they are up charging cars here by about $10,000!!!! Sim Lou even openly admitted they are “doing up sales by about $7k-8k because of supply and demand” and of course, we understand an up sale, that’s a car dealerships biggest scam but they took our money and waited 7 days to then call and harass my husband while he was on duty demanding thousands more. Flip flopping on their reasoning why you still owe them. & saying stupid things like “just charge it to your credit card” Scott Peterson was the absolute worse not even allowing my husband to speak, speaking over him with his BS reasoning. RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL! They are an absolute joke do not do business with this Toyota dealership. You’d be dealing with scam artist morons. More
