We went into the dealership after perusing the internet and finding a used car we were interested in. Sam Truong met us, showed us the vehicle (2009 Corolla), the carfax, and gave us the pertinent vehicle and finding a used car we were interested in. I had been thinking of buying a new car for quite some time but kept putting it off. My busy work week kept me to researching cars on-line in the middle of the night, and never actually going to look at a time but kept putting it off. Whilst my penny-pinching, tight-fists kept me from opening my wallet to actually make a purchase. Finally I decided to send out some inquiries. Mr. Kern replied to me the next day and wanted to know how he could help. At first I was wary of him (he is a salesman after all) but his amicable and approachable manner quickly allowed me to trust him. After a few phone conversations on what I was looking for, what I could afford, etc.. I finally had a day-off to check out the dealership in person. On arrival I was first surprised by the wide selection of cars, it is a really big lot. The friendliness of the staff when I arrived and asked for Mr. Kern was perfect after the drive in L.A. traffic. They showed me directly to his office offered to get me a drink and a snack (which I gladly accepted), and gave me a minute to decompress before I talked business with Mr. Kern. Once we started talking all the stars aligned. Knowing that I had time constraints and am very cheap, nay, FRUGAL, had had already set a few cars aside for me to check out. A basic new car, base model Hybrid, a SUV, and a Camry that was a few years old (now my car). He understood tat my heart wanted the hip Hybrid, or a "cool" SUV, but could tell that my cheap, nay, FRUGAL self would want to see the more "affordable" options as well. After a few quick test drives, and him showing me the work he had already prepared on what payments would be I chose my car. He already had my info prepared, so after only a few hours of being at the lot I drove away. Happy as a fat kid with an ice cream cone, I left in my "brand new" (new to me, 2008) Toyota Camry. If it weren't for all the work Mr. Kern had put in I'm sure I'd still be driving the beater I traded in. More

They quickly put us at ease with their professionalism and quality service. They were knowledgeable in answering all of our questions about the vehicle and purchasing process where we were also trading in a vehicle. They worked with us in getting the best price for the trade in and the Highlander. Their dedicated service continued with Kim Sims, the finance manager, who assisted us in completing the transaction. I was looking for a used Toyota. Calvin introduced himself to me immediately and made me feel very comfortable while browsing. Both stayed late into the evenings to afford me personal contact with them. People like these two ladies come by I feel once in a lifetime. What they got me is everything that I hoped to be able to get. Both a great price for the vehicle I purchased, and a GREAT Interest rate along with a fair price for my trade in vehicle. While the sales staff worked hard to get me the best rate, these two ladies were most evident behind the scenes making it happen. I would recommend these ladies for the warmest and most congenial award---Puente Hills Toyota should be proud to have them as employees and customers should be proud to be able to interact with them both. There were some issues and a slight "hard" sell when it came to the finance department and an extended warranty (which, of note, was handled by a different person--not our sales consultant), but nothing that would make me walk away or tell others to avoid this dealership.
