First I'd like to sincerely apologize for the frustration you felt in purchasing your vehicle from our dealership. It is always our goal to delight our customers with exceptional service and an enjoyable buying experience, I am sorry that your experience did not live up to that standard and I will personally ensure that we do not fail again in the future. I do believe that part of your frustration was due to a lack of explanation on our part of our process. When we purchase a vehicle or take one in on trade our accounting office enters that vehicle's information into our computer system. Each night the system pushes out all the cars in our inventory for display on our website and third party sites. This happens on day one of the vehicle arriving on our lot, sometimes even prior if the office processes the paperwork before the transport company can physically deliver the vehicle to us. So the vehicle is listed online and you see it and inquire on it, however, we put all our vehicles through a rigorous inspection process that takes longer than a day for a number of reasons. First, our service department always prioritizes customer vehicles coming into our service department over our in stock vehicles. Therefore, if you come in for service your vehicle takes priority over our vehicle. Depending upon how busy the service department is and the number of purchased and traded vehicles at any given time, some of our vehicles have to wait to be serviced until a technician is available. There are times a technician is working on one of our cars and pulls it out of the shop to take care of a customer's vehicle. It can slow our process down but we feel it is worth doing because we want to take care of our customers first. That particular vehicle you were interested in arrived on our lot late in the week (I believe on Friday) and did not get into the shop over the weekend because Saturday tends to be a very busy day for customer work. I understand you were anxious to purchase the vehicle because the price was so great and you were driving a rental car at the time but we certainly were not trying to hide anything from you. We would love to sell you a car but what we won't do is sell you an unsafe car or one that hasn't been inspected yet and unfortunately the process can take a little bit of time. We did not lie to you when we told you the finance manager was on a two day break. We are open 7 days a week but our employees do not work 7 days a week. We give all our sales department personnel a half day and a full day off during the week because everyone works on Saturday. The finance manager happens to have a half day on Tuesday and a full day off on Wednesday so there was no finance manager available when you were here on Tuesday and was not returning until Thursday. With that said, we do not close up shop and stop selling cars when the finance manager is off. Just like you selected your vehicle and worked the purchase out with your sales person other customers did the same thing with their sales people on Tuesday and Wednesday. What we couldn't do was sign bank contracts for the loan agreements most customers need in order to purchase the vehicle. So yes, we sold cars during those two days but we could execute the bank contracts until the finance manager returned. When you asked us to take the vehicle to your mechanic/body repairman for inspection we happily obliged and the salesperson drove the vehicle over there himself. When you mentioned the concern regarding the front bumper and asked us to repaint the whole thing we informed you that we would take correct the issue but that we couldn't repaint the entire front bumper. It's a little surprising to read in your review that you stated you were told otherwise. The repair was done professionally and correctly and you should not have any issues with it. Again, I am truly sorry that you were unsatisfied with your purchase. However, we tried to accommodate you at every turn, even providing you with a complimentary loaner vehicle so that you no longer had to pay out of your pocket for a rental vehicle while waiting to finish the transaction. If you were unhappy with the vehicle you could have canceled the deal but I assume you went through with it because we were the lowest priced vehicle in a 250 mile radius and you were looking for the best deal. I am happy that our competitive pricing worked to your advantage but we will certainly learn from this experience and grow from it. We stand behind out vehicles and most certainly honor our warranties. We take pride in our reconditioning process to ensure our customer get a quality vehicle. And that's what you received. We wish you nothing but the best and many years of driving enjoyment with your vehicle.

I spoke with Evette on March 17,2014. I had Capital One conference us because they were unable to disclose specific information to me without the customer’s consent. This was a mistake in our office from cutting lesser of a check then what the pay offs original amount was. Since the vehicle was not paid off in full and she did not cancel her automatic payments on her vehicle which she no longer had, they took out the remaining $73 and $53 to satisfy the loan. Correcting our mistake, we cut a check to Capital One which was received on March 11, 2014. Capital one owes her money for over payment. The customer was satisfied after I reached out to her and we clarified everything. She stated she would not be changing her review - Danielle Samoorian Business Development Manager Pride Hyundai of Seekonk
