High pressure, confrontational manager I stopped at this dealership after having a bad experience at another Hyundai dealership. I sat down with Chris and told him I was looking for number I stopped at this dealership after having a bad experience at another Hyundai dealership. I sat down with Chris and told him I was looking for numbers on both an Accent and an Elantra. After taking some information down, he went and got his manager to come and sit down with us. When they sat down with me, they only brought pricing information for the Elantra, essentially ignoring the fact that I was interested in the less expensive Accent as well. Although I had told Chris the moment I started talking with him that I would not be purchasing a car that day, as soon as his manager (Mahmoud) sat down, he started to raise the pressure. As I tried to review his numbers, it was obvious that they did not add up correctly. I asked several questions including what the interest rate he was quoting at was, and did not receive any substantive answers. I finally asked for a copy of the numbers so that I could go home and think about it, and he picked the sheet up and said no (very childish behavior). At this point I started to walk out and he started trying to offer me more money off the car. If I had already been turned off by his aggressiveness, this certainly wasn't going to help. Finally, on my way out I asked who the general manager of the dealership was and Mahmoud said it was him. I was quite surprised to find later that evening when I checked their website that the general manager was some different. More

Dissappointing customer service, follow through I recently pursued a purchase of a new vehicle at Pride, seeking a match of price that I was quoted at a competitor. The specific car that I wanted wa I recently pursued a purchase of a new vehicle at Pride, seeking a match of price that I was quoted at a competitor. The specific car that I wanted was not in stock on-site, but both the sales rep and the manager on site 'guaranteed' they could get me the car that I wanted within 24-hours. They also explained their pricing structure with detail, so while the price I had wasn't matched, I was comfortable with the negotiated/tentative agreement. The following day, I left 2 messages for the sales person, who never returned my calls. The day after that, I was contacted by another sales person, responding to an online inquiry I had submitted previously. I explained the situation, and he said he'd call me back in 10 minutes. Guess what -- No call. In the end, I found the exact model I wanted from another dealership at a price that was even better, so I suppose it was meant to work out that way. I'm simply disappointed, because the manager gave a great soliloquy about how he left his previous dealership because he believed in the quality and customer service and vision of a family dealership that is what Pride is striving for. Strive a little stronger, Pride. More
