I have bought about 40 vehicles in my lifetime On all but 2 occassions, I felt like I was being jerked around with all the "BS" trips made by the salesman to his manager and back. I've been through this but 2 occassions, I felt like I was being jerked around with all the "BS" trips made by the salesman to his manager and back. I've been through this process enough to know that they are trying to wear me down and to squeeze every last dollar out of me. Usually the salesman will end up telling me what a great price he is going to get me and then blames it on his boss when the price is being negotiated. On numerous occassions, after several hours of my wife and I sitting in an office negotiating, we get disgusted and leave. On this occassion, our car buying experience was completely different. We have been talking with Ken about buying a vehicle for about a year. He was never pushy but was always very helpful. My wife was impressed with him and felt he was very personable and honest. When we finally got ready to buy a vehicle and decided which model we wanted, Ken took all the time necessary to answer all our questions and show us all vehicles which he had available which met our need as we described to him. When it came time to negotiate the price, it went quickly. We were well informed of the values of our trade in and the new vehicle. I am sure that helped speed the process. We are very pleased with this buying experience and would not hesitate to buy another car from Ken and this dealership. More
Treated unprofessionally over the phone when requesting a quote. When he didn't respond to my email after our initial phone conversation, I called the dealership back the next day around 0930. I left my name and phone number and no one ever contacted me. I was a serious buyer but if this is how they treat potential customers I can't imagine how I would be treated after the sale. I would never consider doing business with this dealership. More

As a recent graduate from the University of Mary Washington, I started to research new cars to see which ones had the best mpg, comfort and price. Living in Fredericksburg and looking to further a career in northern Virginia those were three things of importance. I came to the conclusion, after researching the 2011 Hyundai Elantra Limited, that Hyundai was the car brand I was interested in purchasing. So I went down to Pohanka Hyundai of Fredericksburg to see what kind of a car deal I could get on a new car. I already knew the price range of the Hyundai Elantra Limited and the amount of money I was willing to pay. However, I was unclear as to if the two were going to match. After arriving at Pohanka, with my mother, mere seconds later Bill Hamilton introduced himself. From that moment on he made all my worries subside with his charm and confidence. He let me test drive the vehicle I choose for as long as I needed to make sure that I was comfortable with how it handled on the highway as well as in the city. When we arrived back at the Hyundai dealership, Bill knew how much my heart was set on the car and the price of my budget. When the day ended, I no longer saw Bill Hamilton as the sales associate that approached me in the beginning but more as a friend who invited me into his home (office). His knowledge, dedication, and caring attitude is undoubtedly the only reason I walked away relaxed and extremely happy in my brand new Hyundai 2011 Elantra Limited. I would recommend that if you are in the area or looking to buy a Hyundai online, call and ask to speak with Bill Hamilton.
