The Pat Lobb dealership goes above and beyond any other - anywhere! Whether buying or service NONE compare, Spike is the best and very patient even with my wife and her dealings with the Pat Lobb dealershi anywhere! Whether buying or service NONE compare, Spike is the best and very patient even with my wife and her dealings with the Pat Lobb dealership, she is very satisifed. I must have looked at 6 or more cars in several visits over time before buying my Corolla. Got a DEAL! Also called him when even going to other dealerships and got advise about different things to watch for at them, He knows just what they will try and pull, that HONESTY brought us back. Honest sales and service. If you want exceptional customer service, Pat Lobb is where to go. We have bought 3 vehicles here in the past 2 years and have NO complaints, they take care of ANY issues that might pop up. Always feel welcome buying parts, service or just touching base with any employee that works there. I can even drop in just to say hello, and all the employees I stop take time for me. I mean ABOVE and BEYOND...... Thank You Pat Lobb! More
We will travel 40 miles through two counties, past other Toyota dealers to get to Pat Lobb Toyota in McKinney to purchase and have serviced our new Toyota Priuses. Spike has gone out of his way to help us g Toyota dealers to get to Pat Lobb Toyota in McKinney to purchase and have serviced our new Toyota Priuses. Spike has gone out of his way to help us get the best vehicle for our needs for the best price, letting us take all the time we needed to decide. After the sale, he is personally just as available and helpful to his customers for any questions or problems that need to be solved. He is knowledgeable, honest, friendly and a straight-shooter who is a person of his word. He is a professional who makes it easy for you to get exactly what you need, and he follows up with you to make you are taken care of properly. I highly recommend him to everyone. Mike Weiss of the body shop is another caring Pat Lobb employee of integrity we are happy to recommend. He not only professionaly assessed our exact repair needs after our 3-month old car was side-swiped by a hit and run driver, but also saw to it that our vehicle was fixed and restored to its previous glory quickly, for a fraction of the quote we had received from an unscrupulous body shop dealer closer to our home. The Service Dept personnel -even guys who open your door and escort you inside - are polite, helpful, honest and go above and beyond to do whatever it takes to fix a problem to our satisfaction. Their service hours on Saturday are great. We feel pampered whenever we come to the Pat Lobb facility; the building is an interesting and enjoyable place to visit, being an eco-friendly LEEDS certified building, unlike other old dealerships with noisym smelly and depressing waiting rooms. I haven't had such wonderful service since I owned an expensive luxury vehicle years ago, and feel like we are always treated at Pat Lobb as good as if we were a member of their own families. More
We took our Toyota in for warranty work and they concluded that there was nothing wrong since the "Check Engine" light was not on. This, and they had the nerve to act as though they were doing us a concluded that there was nothing wrong since the "Check Engine" light was not on. This, and they had the nerve to act as though they were doing us a favor because they'd checked and cleaned one intake component during the service. Their customer service is shoddy and they're rude at times and generally unhelpful most all of the time. I cannot recommend them because of their attitude and the fact that they never actually fixed anything. The problem continued to happen after taking the vehicle to them twice. More
I had never bought a used car from a dealer before so I was a little apprehensive going in. Found one of interest on the internet at Pat Lobb and contacted them re its availability. Spike responded by ph was a little apprehensive going in. Found one of interest on the internet at Pat Lobb and contacted them re its availability. Spike responded by phone and the process began. Spike stayed in touch by email and phone, even giving me a fair quote on my trade in, so I finally decided to meet him and see the car. When we met he was very professional in his demeanor, answered my many questions, exhibited great patience while I dragged my feet about buying or not. He loaned me his office while I phoned my wife and, finally, we decided to buy the car. Spike drove me to my bank so I could get the check and spearheaded a smooth process of the many forms and paperwork needed to seal the deal. So far the car is as good as we had hoped and I came away from this transaction with a very positive taste in my mouth about the whole process. Spike was really good do deal with. Also, the dealership's physical facility was very professional and impressive. More
Being in the military one moves a lot, Spike took the time to understand my needs and met every request within reason. He met my family and I at the airport with papers in hand, handed over the keys and time to understand my needs and met every request within reason. He met my family and I at the airport with papers in hand, handed over the keys and left us to start our new adventures in Texas. Thats the short version, 2 weeks of emailing, phone calls to and from Germany Spike was able to honor USAAs' price voucher and got me a great deal on a 2009 minivan. We flew from Frankfurt Germany to Dallas Fort Worth. I was worried he would not be out there with an hour and a half delay, but he was there! The transaction was smooth, well timed and very professional. I am very pleased to have our new minivan and 800 miles and 3 days later I am writing to let all you service members know if you go through Spike and USAA you can not go wrong. Spike was wonderful in answering all our question, handling any concerns and making sure all paperwork was complete so we could just drive off into the sunset after our 12 hour flight. It was perfect. More
There is no such thing as "Customer Service" here at Patt Lobb. Service Dept. employees are thick-headed. When the work wasn't satisfactory the Service Dept. Supervisor never apologized nor looked me in the Lobb. Service Dept. employees are thick-headed. When the work wasn't satisfactory the Service Dept. Supervisor never apologized nor looked me in the eye. He did have his crew fix the situation though. With as many problems that Toyota is having right now and the amount of competition out there I would think they'd be tripping over each other to please the customer. I will drive all the way to Plano or even Rockwall now. This was not just one incident....it was the last several times I took my car there. Good Luck, Lobb.....you're going to need it. More
First I need to be clear, I have not yet purchased my vehicle yet, but will be doing so in the next couple of weeks and it will be from Pat Lobb Toyota. The reason is simple, Mr. Phil Watson. We are vehicle yet, but will be doing so in the next couple of weeks and it will be from Pat Lobb Toyota. The reason is simple, Mr. Phil Watson. We are looking at the Prius and Pat Lobb was the fourth dealer that we had visited after going to Toyota of Dallas, Richardson, and Lewisville. Even though we have done a lot of research and read everything we could find we had several questions and we also wanted to drive the car. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and after saying that we were only looking and would not be purchasing today, Mr. Watson indicated that that was not a problem and invited us inside to review exactly how we wanted our Prius configured. We spent almost 30 minutes going through all our questions and Phil brought up several things that we had not considered. Phil was the first salesman that actually seemed to know the Prius and could answer all our questions. He was also patient as we at one point argued with him about an option and he very politely went and grabbed a Toyota reference book and showed us the answer and then pulled up a Prius and showed us how it worked. Based on what we discussed we were able to determine exactly what we wanted in our Prius and Phil found one in stock and we went for a test drive. Very enjoyable drive as Phil told us he was going to be quiet and let us pay attention to the car. He did and only spoke when we asked a question. Got back to the dealer and Phil just asked when we would like him to follow up and if we would mind meeting one of the managers. Great experience and if you are planning on going to Pat Lobb I would recommend that you ask for Phil Watson. We will definately be buying from this dealer and this salesman!!!!!!!! More
Knowing my interests, a Pat Lobb Toyota sales rep called me to see a car that night. It seemed great (in the dark) though the price was higher than I could afford. The price came down slightly and we agre me to see a car that night. It seemed great (in the dark) though the price was higher than I could afford. The price came down slightly and we agreed on a price pending a clean "quality inspection" the next morning. While this 2008 Civic was in the cleaning bay the sales rep told me that the car had passed a thorough inspection. At that point the dealership attempted to add a new $595 fee for servicing the car. This fee had not been agreed to and violated our hand shake. After some effort they removed the fee. Unfortunately I signed the papers and picked the car up at twilight. I did not drive the car the next day, but the following day I discovered that the car had been in an accident. The paint and body work were substandard. In the trunk the sheet metal seems to be hand cut and remains sharp. There was rust in the spare tire well. The paint is forming boils in places. The rep showed no interest in righting the situation. I never got an apology, an "I'm sorry," or any sense that arguing would be productive. There is no way that the dealership's appraiser missed this obvious accident. Anything close to a "quality inspection" would have uncovered this workmanship. A sales rep that has been in the business for going on 20 years surely can do better at providing an honest assessment. Perhaps the parts department is worth its salt, but the rest of the folks at Pat Lobb Toyota need training. More
Talked to Spike on the phone & asked him about the ad on their website. He said come by & he'd give me the best deal. So I came & waited for him for a while. Told him that I was looking for 2009 Camry LE their website. He said come by & he'd give me the best deal. So I came & waited for him for a while. Told him that I was looking for 2009 Camry LE & what my budget was. He said the ad $17,999 for the Camry LE was just for the base but they didn't have anything like that. All the 2009 Camry LE are red with options that I have to pay extra. He said "why don't you get 2010 for a little more" but I told him that my budget was under $20k. I told him that I want to trade in my clunker & he told me that he's not sure if the government pays for that. He said the government hasn't paid them yet on the clunkers so we went back & forth on the price. He said that I was wasting his time & my time because he had customers waiting for him. When I was in his office dealing for the car he stepped out & talked to other customers & left me waiting again & again. So when I picked out the car that I wanted, I told him if he could reduce the price, he said he'd have to talk to his manager. So he came back with the price $100 less than the previous price, I told him that was still over my budget. He said "if you don't like the price, then why don't we part ways" I told him that I wanted to buy that car but he didn't seem to care & didn't want to sell me that car. So I said "are you gonna let me walk out with only $200 difference?" He didn't say anything so I walked out & left. I'll never come back to that place again. More
