The staff in your dealership were extremely helpful and honest throughout the entire process. At every step and with every question that I had, an expert was there to help and suggest a better solution for either finding the right color, model, financing and finding the right warranty. Everyone was friendly and strangely enough, wanted to find a better way for me to save money in the long run. Once again, thank you for helping me purchase the right car at the right price, I look forward to doing business with you in the future and will definitely recommend your dealership to my friends and family. Really really wanted to like this dealership First, let me say i really like Pat Lobb and their green LEED building and have successfully used them for service on my other Toyota. So when we star First, let me say i really like Pat Lobb and their green LEED building and have successfully used them for service on my other Toyota. So when we started shopping for a new Prius V Two, we really expected to buy from them as they are also the closest dealer for us. We started out through the USAA car buying service. We got a certificate saying we were guaranteed at least $3092 off the base sticker and a referral to Pat Lobb, and were under the impression this would provide a no BS approach, not the typical retail car sales approach. Sadly that was not the case. My husband was contacted by Sid and we made an appt to go see a new Prius V in the Two trim with a few additional options. We didn't not want a lot of options so that car was great. Sid was nice enough and let us drive the car but somewhat condescending, explaining to us that a hybrid has both gas and electric power. Gosh, really, maybe that's why it's called a hybird? He needs to get better at tuning his spiel based on the knowledge level of his buyer. Things went downhill after the drive. First there was the "Are you going to buy the car today?" spiel. Second, "This the best price we can do. $2700 off that car's sticker." Stupidly we didn't take the certificate along so couldn't remember the exact number we got from USAA but knew it was better than that but when we asked were told this is the best price they could do. There was a $1000 rebate or 0% financing on the car. Sid actually did the Go get the manager routine and the manager whose name I can't remember was even more insulting. You need the 0% financing that will save you $4800 in finance charges. Well we had %1.49 approved at USAA which carries about $900 over the life of a 60 month note, so it's really a wash, you just have to decide what's a better deal for you as a consumer. Manager tried to tell us you'd have to get a finance rate below %0.9 or you'd be upside down on that. We pretty much ignored that info and left. If you are going to tell someone they can save $4800 in finance charges it might be better to first understand how much they are actually looking at in finance charges. Went home, looked at the USAA certifcate ($3092) off and sent Sid an email telling him we expected at least that off the sticker since it was "guaranteed" and that since the car did have some port options and dealer options above the base sticker you actually have room to come off the price even more since all the options, esp. dealer's options have very generous mark up in them. Sid did not respond, instead left my husband a voice mail about other cars to look at. Ultimately we went to another dealer to look at a used Prius V. While there, we liked the salesman and his no nonsense approach and agreed to look at some new ones with him. He searched inventory for a V Two with the homelink mirror which we did like and the only one in the DFW area was the same one we drove at Pat Lobb. He quoted us a price $500 below Pat Lobb's price. We worked it all out, they traded Pat Lobb for the car and went and got it. Finance guy there was no BS, asked if we would let him finance the car if he could beat the %1.49. We said OK, if there is no drama involved. He made one call, got us %1.39, we did the paperwork and were out of finance in 30 mins. That's they way to sell cars to informed consumers. Treating them like idiots who cannot do math is not. More
Establish a relationship with Toyota It can be difficult to establish a meaningful relationship with a huge company like Toyota. Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney has apparently figured out th It can be difficult to establish a meaningful relationship with a huge company like Toyota. Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney has apparently figured out that by selling a superior product with superior salesmen, closing the deal with superior financing officers, and maintaining the product with superior advisors and technicians that customers will soon realize that this is the place to do business for years to come. I've purchased several vehicles from this dealership since it opened and have enjoyed every experience. It's nice to walk in the doors and be greeted by employees that know me, or greeted by employees that recognize me: as a valued customer. I'd say that I've developed a meaningful relationship that I have experienced nowhere else! More

Worst Manager - He disgraces Patt Lobb I requested information online on a vehicle I was interested in then I received a call from an internet sales rep who took all of my information, what I requested information online on a vehicle I was interested in then I received a call from an internet sales rep who took all of my information, what I was looking for, my budget, my trade info ect. I was then referred to Shaun Anderson because he was going to review all the info I sent over on my trade in and call me back with a estimate. He NEVER called back. I then called Pat Lobb and was given to another sales rep who asked for all the same info I had already provided. I again, gave all then info which both times I told them that I had just purchased one vehicle less than a year ago from Buck and wanted to work with him. Finally the director James Brown got involved after about 10 phone calls and a lot of wasted time and made sure Buck was working with me as I requested the very first call. I ended up purchasing a vehicle from Buck and everything seemed to be working out until right before I signed the paperwork I noticed a dent in the roof. Buck asked Shaun to look it over and fix it. Shaun agreed to do so and he would call to schedule a time for me to bring the vehicle up there. Shaun never called! After 3 emails and 4 phone calls (which several he stated he would call back and NEVER did) I finally had arranged a time to take my vehicle to Pat Lobb. I was told by Shaun a vehicle of equal or more value would be waiting on me and that he would make sure mats were installed as well as my tags and it would take two days. I go to Pat Lobb to drop my SUV off and guess what..... No vehicle was arranged for me to take, no one knew I was coming or what service I needed and Shaun had already left for the day! After a lot of wasted time and re-explaining over and over what I needed, who I talked to, ect I was given a old POS vehicle to drive that sounded like the engine was going to explode. I was again told it would take 2 days and I would get a call when it was ready. Day 2 came around and no call from Shaun so I call him. He gives me every excuse he can think of as to why things weren't done. He is a manager and I expected he would just own up to the fact that he dropped the ball rather than make excuses but no. He then tells me he is just waiting for it to be detailed then he will get the keys and call me. Did he call? Of course NOT! Day 4 comes around and I call the service department to see if my vehicle is ready and I am told "yes, it's been ready". So again Shaun didn't call me. I ask her to confirm if everything is completed before I drive all the way up there and she can only confirm one of the three things being completed and tells me I need to speak with Shaun to confirm. I refused then ask to speak with a manager and I'm told Shaun is a manager so I say never mind. I called James Brown and had to leave a message then I called Buck to see if he would take the time to straighten this all out. He promises to do so. I'm not on my way to Pat Lobb to get my vehicle however based on everything that's happened I guarantee when I get there that there will be problems. I almost want to just tell them to keep it and refund my money. It's sad when you spend over $30K on a vehicle and are treated so poorly. More
