I received a flyer saying they would pay 110% of kbb. I went in and it took 4 hours alone just to get my truck appraised. The salesman and the sales manager tried playing number games with me. They tried t went in and it took 4 hours alone just to get my truck appraised. The salesman and the sales manager tried playing number games with me. They tried to run my credit before my vehicle was ever appraised. ( 2 years ago I bought 2 brand new Toyota vehicles both financed through Toyota financial. Finally received appraisal and it was less than kbb worst shape rating. When I told them I was unhappy with the appraisal they started with "what would you like to get for your trade in". Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!! Playing number games trying to cheat someone out of $. They offered $34,000 for my 2012 f250 lariat diesel. Had it appraised by 2 other dealerships today I was offered $39,000 by one and $38,500 by the other. PAT LOBB and employees are a bunch of CROOKS Flyer also said iq would receive a best buy gift card which I didn't. Sales man said he'd call today as I was there till after 9 last night and he didn't. Now that's honesty and integrity at its finest More
4 years ago I went to Patt Lobb in mckinney and I bought a used Toyota tundra with only 24300 miles on it. it was a fair price but like a sucker I succumbed to the "you need to buy the " 6 Year " 100 k mile a used Toyota tundra with only 24300 miles on it. it was a fair price but like a sucker I succumbed to the "you need to buy the " 6 Year " 100 k mile warranty. I was told it would cover prematurely worn tires, chipped glass, ... shortly thereafter I went in because 2 of the tires were worn out at 31k miles. I was told this wasn't covered because the previous owner had not had the tires rotated by a Toyota dealer every 5k miles. aggravated but stuff happens. yesterday I took my truck in at 99457 miles. about 500 before the 6 year 100k warranty was to expire, I was willing to pay them to look for anything that should be covered by the warranty and I was told my 6 year warranty had expired in 12 of 2012. the 6 year warranty didn't start when I bought it but when the vehicle first went into service. had I been told my 6 year warranty was actually a 3 year warranty I would never have spent over 1600 dollars on the xxxx thing. the credit managers comment? "im sorry that wasn't explained to you, I wasn't here at the time." Though I understood the warranty was till 100 k, I did not realize that if I bought a 3 year old truck and I bought a 6 year warranty its only good for three years. That’s a huge item people need to know. More
I will summarize by saying: If you are looking for a place that provides excellent customer service, honest business practices and efficient/considerate customer care…go elsewhere. I was misled by t place that provides excellent customer service, honest business practices and efficient/considerate customer care…go elsewhere. I was misled by the fantastic reviews that I found online for this dealership. They fall into every stereotype customers have about the car business. After spending HOURS with them and finally agreeing to purchase a car, the manager stated the car he was trying to sell to us had been sold. This after sitting with them for an extended period of time and having my credit checked. By the time we were told about their error, it was too late to go to another location. They did not honor that we had seen and test drove the car first. We suspected the other customer was willing to pay more. However, the manager did say he noticed that someone checked out the keys of the vehicle we test drove (during our negotiations) but he took “a chance” thinking that the person test driving the car would not want to purchase the car. In addition, we were told they did not have comparable cars on the lot. High volume dealership yet no other cars are available? They also did not make an effort to compensate for the situation. Also, WE had to request to speak to the manager we were working with the last couple of hours since he sent his employee to take the blame. He was friendly when we were going to purchase the car but when a problem arose he disappeared. We left upset and frustrated. The next business day we were contacted by the salesman to let us know that they had another car on the lot that possibly matched our needs. I was frustrated to hear this news since I had mentioned several times to them that we needed to buy a car that Saturday due to our schedule and needs. Therefore, we explained that we would not return to their dealership unless we were compensated for the time lost and their poor business practices. The salesman said he would look into what they could do but his mgmt. denied our request (which we expected). However, the reason for the continued annoyance stemmed from him sending a TEXT to share this information. We did not initiate a text dialogue so I am not quite sure when it became appropriate practice for business deals and negotiations. We are not buddies. I called the customer service line to inform them of my frustrations. The person over the phone seemed appalled but we never received a call back. Car dealerships do not have the best reputation when it comes to business practices so do not be misled that this place is any different. I promise you, it isn’t. Just expect the usual shady behaviors. Watch your pocket and make sure they have the keys in hand before they run your credit. We will definitely be shopping elsewhere. 08/30/13 - We contacted the general manager after he sent us a message due to our review. He seemed highly interested in us changing our review. I understand his stated commitment to customer service, unfortunately he seemed more invested in us changing our stars rather than actually resolving the issue. Since we have already spent enough time on this and we are obviously frustrated/disappointed, we stated that we would not provide him with more information to help improve his business unless we received something that actually benefited us. We have already explained our concerns to the salesperson, manager and customer service representative. The general manager is the 4th person! It should not take this long to have an issue resolved. The general manager offered the EXACT same price we were offered on Saturday. Not one dollar more, not one dollar less. He also implied that "some people" write reviews just to get a good deal on a car. Obviously, we were willing to purchase a car from his lot at that price on Saturday since I signed a paper to have my credit checked. However, like I already stated to them, I do not have time to go car shopping during the week which is the sole reason we have yet to purchase a car. Due to their mistake, we now have to rearrange our schedule to find time to go car shopping. The car need was imminent; however, to expect us to shop at their dealership with no incentive makes absolutely no sense. Why should we? They have plenty of competitors in the DFW area. We are already in communication with another dealer, one that we foolishly passed up on on Saturday. They seem very happy to take our business. Please see satisfiedcustomer555 review for Eckert Hyundai in Denton, TX. I highly recommend Bob Delmark! After this phone conversation, I stand by my review. For all readers, please know that I did not purchase a car from this dealership, I did not get “a better” deal like general manager referenced and I did take my business elsewhere. I truly hope they modify their process so that all future customers have a much better experience. My reason for posting reviews are so that consumers are aware of what type of business they are encountering, good and bad. May this dealership’s honest efforts earn them better reviews. More

Let me say they were friendly people. We were ready to buy a truck from here but they would not even budge on the price and they offered me way less than my car was worth. So we made the trek to Weatherfo buy a truck from here but they would not even budge on the price and they offered me way less than my car was worth. So we made the trek to Weatherford that's over an hour way to Durant Toyota and they exceeded my expectations! Go see Durant Toyota they will take care of you there. More
George was quick to respond to my certificates from the USAA Car Buying service. He made his schedule fit my schedule, provided multiple Avalon options and then arranged multiple test drives for myself, my wife and then a 24 hour test drive so that I could validate the fuel economy of the new Avalon hybrid. It is listed as 40 MPG but George taught me a few tricks during the test drives and I achieved 41.7 mpg on the highway. It was a strong, positive and great experience. Always friendly and courteous, there was absolutely no sales pressure. Wish I had bought my 2011 Avalon from Pat Lobb but I bought from another Toyota dealership and the experience was horrible. I will only buy new Toyotas from the Pat Lobb dealership. I have been to three other Toyota dealerships in the Dallas, Richardson and Lewisville area and none of them compare favorably with Pat Lobb. Pat Lobb has it right and George Mogollon is a fantastic person who will help you immensely with your sales decision, without any sales pressure! Thank you for a job well done. More
This was repeat experience for us with George Mogollon. We leased a Highlander from George in 2011 and the customer service did not stop there. Throughout the life of the lease George maintained contact with us to make sure there were no issues. As the lease was coming to a close he contacted us about our options several times. We made another appointment and ended up leaving with a new lease on a 2013 Sienna with no money out of our pocket and a cheaper monthly payment! It doesn't get much better than that!! I can not imagine going to another dealer to dealing with another sales representative. As long as George is there, we will be a customer. Thanks again George and Patt Lobb of McKinney for making this another great experience! More
The response time from the Internet Sales Director and the sales rep were very lacking. I would email a question, and IF I got a response, it might be 8 hours later. The last time the sales rep contacte the sales rep were very lacking. I would email a question, and IF I got a response, it might be 8 hours later. The last time the sales rep contacted me via phone and I asked a specific question, he promised he would get back to me. He never did, I had to reach out to him. The second time I met the sales rep, he started pushing his new monthly sales incentives, not anything that I needed, and he continued to push even after I told him I wasn't interested. Also during my second visit with the sales rep, I brought my husband along, but only for a second opinion of the vehicle. Yet the sales rep stopped looking at me during conversation and solely looked at my husband and directed all questions to him. Very annoying for a female that has purchased her last 3 cars by myself without any assistance from my husband. The sales rep totally focused on monthly payments, even though I made it clear it was about the overall price of the car, not monthly payments. Then he even tried to pull the BS trick of asking me to fill out a credit application to (again) "get me a better idea what my monthly payment would be". Last but not least, the quality of the used vehicle I was considering was poor. It was very dirty, and there was a problem with the a/c. The a/c problem is common in Honda's and would have cost the dealership about $120 to repair. They didn't even want to attempt it. The dealership did not care what quality the vehicle was purchased in. I am very glad I took my business else where. More
