My husband and I were in the market of purchasing a new/used car and a friend of ours who recently purchased a car from Parkway Toyota referred us to their dealer ship. This was going to be our first p new/used car and a friend of ours who recently purchased a car from Parkway Toyota referred us to their dealer ship. This was going to be our first purchase so we weren’t aware of all the hassle that came along with it. However, Seyda our sales representative and Ash the sales manager has made our purchase effortless. We brought exactly what we wanted for the price we offered. Every one person in this dealer ship was friendly, helpful and without a doubt dedicated. I would most definitely refer any one to Parkway Toyota. I am one pleased customer all thanks to them! More
Douglas Tracey and Philip Ferreira made my new car buying experiencing very comfortable. They actually listened to my preferences and expectations instead of only trying to make a quick sale and presented p experiencing very comfortable. They actually listened to my preferences and expectations instead of only trying to make a quick sale and presented price quotes based on only those features that were appropriate for my family. Finally, we quickly negotiated an agreed to price without the usual haggling back and forth about the price. I would definitely recommend Parkway Toyota - ask for sales person Douglas Tracey and manager Phillip Ferreira. More
This is a case when one person can really scar your whole car buying experience. I went to the dealership to purchase new prius II. I had done my research and had a price in mind. When the sales manager ( car buying experience. I went to the dealership to purchase new prius II. I had done my research and had a price in mind. When the sales manager (Phillip) realized that we have done some homework he reduced his prices by almost $1100. I asked at that time if there are any additional fee and i was told that only the registration and taxes will be extra. Once they brought official form in front of me that had ~$252 documentation fee and registration fee of almost ~$260. I objected and was able to reduce the price of the car by $200 further. Before we had started negotiating they had told me about the 0% financing available from toyota. So we agreed on a deal and started working on the paperwork. After a while I was brought in to talk to finance manager and we were happily working on the details of getting registration etc. Then the talk focused on financing. To my horror they were charging me 5.75% interest! This despite my very good credit history (even their finance manager acknowledged I had a 'good' credit). Phillip was called again and he told me that i could either get $1000 off (which he had given me in the deal) or I could get 0% financing. When i refused to accept this high interest rate he walked away calling me an xxxxxxx! Horrible experience. Will not recommend it. I should add that other people-- sales associate and finance manager were really nice people to talk to and they tried to handle the situation well after Phillip's behavior. But Phillip needs to be more professional. More
parkway toyota was very disappointing. it was my first parkway toyota was very disappointing. it was my first time in this dealer, I scheduled to check/repair a re-call on my corolla, I was told 2.5 hours parkway toyota was very disappointing. it was my first time in this dealer, I scheduled to check/repair a re-call on my corolla, I was told 2.5 hours, of course it is free. disappointing #1: dealer do not want to offer ride back home even only 4.5 miles, and I scheduled ride already, said no way to pick me up. disappointing #2: then in the middle, push me to replace cabin air filter and brake light bulb, I wanted to change by myself, I was told it is not possible. I was charged ~$30 for parts and ~$80 for labor. first it is easy to change cabin air filter and brake light bulb, second how much did dealer charge for a 10 minute job? in total 1.0 hour was spent in dealer for 2.5 hour re-call repair and change cabin air filter and brake light bulb, was dealer charging labor for free recall repair? i was questioning the rating of parkway toyota. I changed the rating from 1 to 4, since two managers take action within 1 day, that is amazingly fast. The attitude deserve the applause. recommendation to get a loyal customer: 1. please introduce the name first, at least for first time customer. 2. please break down the part and labor in the estimate, on-line pricing would be better. 3. please make the shuttle/ride service more convenient, it is important for NJ. Purchasing a used car for my elderly mother-in-law couldn't have been a more pleasant experience once we found Parkway Toyota Scion. Not only was Douglas Tracey extremely professional but he was also couldn't have been a more pleasant experience once we found Parkway Toyota Scion. Not only was Douglas Tracey extremely professional but he was also very charming, patient and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure that everything was handled properly, including transferring her insurance policy over to her new "used" car. We first saw the car that evening, took it for a test drive and purchased it on the spot as a cash deal, and even delivered it in mint condition once her personal check cleared. However, even after that transaction was complete, Doug and many of the team members of Parkway Toyota Scion called us numerous times to thank us for our purchase and to offer their future assistance if needed. Their level of customer service is outstanding and greatly appreciated - something we did not experience at several other dealerships we visited before finding Parkway Toyota Scion. Thank you so much for a wonderful car buying experience - and for a "used car" nonetheless. In the past, we've been a Toyota family for many years (Corolla, Camry, Avalon) and currently we are a Lexus family (ES300, RX300, RX330), which proves we've always been satisfied with the cars we've driven. Our experience at Parkway Toyota Scion is representative of the customer service we've always received at Lexus and we are very appreciative to the staff there at Parkway Toyota Scion. Thanks again! On Saturday, 4 September, I purchased a 2010 Toyota Highlander from Parkway Toyota. This is the second car I've purchased from Parkway (I bought a new Camry Solara Convertible from them in June of 2009 Highlander from Parkway Toyota. This is the second car I've purchased from Parkway (I bought a new Camry Solara Convertible from them in June of 2009) and it won't be the last! Through every step of the sales process, Sales Manager Bob Winograd and his team treated me with courtesy, integrity and a level of honesty which, in my 30 years experience purchasing new cars, is completely unparallelled. Naturally, Bob gave me a great price on my car and a fantastic trade-in allowance, but what really sets this dealer apart is the detailed level of personalized customer service which Parkway provided. When I visited the dealership to pick up the vehicle, the Finance Manager advised me reuse my liscence plates rather than surrendering them, making more work for the dealership but saving me 75 Dollars! On the phone, I'd asked for a spare set of Wheel Lug Nuts (i.e., to replace the Locking Nuts supplied with the vehicle) and found these, at no additonal charge, in my Glove Compartment. Finally, when it turned out, days after the sale, that I might have been entitled to an additional discount, Bob went the extra mile to obtain a refund for me, even though he was under no legal obligation to do so. In 1979, I bought my first new car (a Datsun 310) and in the intervening 31 years, I've purchased 15 new cars, from Fords to Mercedes to Porsches. Regardless of brand or dealership, I've never been treated as fairly, courteously or with as much concern for my needs as I have been by Parkway Toyota. Having purchased six new Toyotas in the past nine years, I'd considered myself a bit of a Toyota Fanatic. That has changed: I now consider myself a Parkway Toyota Fanatic. I'd be crazy to buy a new car anywhere else...and, if you live in the New York Metro area, so would you! More
